This is an interesting way of "seeing" the word "blind." It showed a lot about your character. Congrats on your placement in my contest!

Caring for others, especially senior citizens, is a virtue...selflessly giving love and attention. Both your poem and work are appreciated. ~ Hugs // paul

very well done, Cecilia. A little note, we are not to put our name on the poem to show who we are underneath the poem. it's wonderful how you care for the elderly and it is just the opposite of your name's meaning!!

Very nice Cecelia. In America seniors are frequently afforded little dignity by family, care workers etc. Btw, did you mean foremost in that last line instead of first most?

Beautifully expressed Cecilia. I hope this is a top winner. My daughter is a nurse in a convalescent hospital for the past 15 years and it is so important to have someone caring for them who is compassionate. Lovely! xxoo
