Notes About The Poem

Womanly is the meaning of my name. My name is feminine version of Andrew, which means "manly." (the judge can't see this part of my post)

Womanly

Wisdom resides in the meaning
Of my name, for most females are naturally wise.
More compassion have I than masculinity provides.
A warmth shines forth from my blue-grey eyes.
Not domineering like those in the macho throng.
Lover of lavender, lace and romance am I -
Yet, like a man, I can be strong!
