Contest Description
What to Submit?
This is a unique form of poetry I made up, I call it a Bauk-Than. It's basically a reversed Than-Bauk exchanging the 1st line with the 3rd line. A traditional Than bauk has 3 lines, each line has 4 syllables and also the last word of the first line has to rhyme with the 3rd word of the 2nd line, and the 3rd word of the 2nd line has to rhyme with the 2nd word of the last line. The switch here is to have the 2nd word of the 1st line rhyme with the 3rd word from the 2nd line, and the 3rd word from the 2nd line rhyme with the last word of the 3rd line. (Confusing -lol) See my example titled "Sensible Sentences" The other twist is as you see in my title...you must also rhyme the title (2 words only). Oh, did I mention? Your poem also has to be a sensible sentence-lol Please put a BT at the end of your title so I don't accidentally read it. Any questions please soupmail me. You may add more lines to your poem if you like (See "Sara Kendricks" poem titled "The Writing Day" to see how she continued the rhyme pattern...a fantasic write) Good luck everyone...have fun!
