Contest Description
What to Submit?
Write me ONE pleiades based on a food that you enjoy eating. This is a pretty basic form. See my poem below for how to do it - seven six-syllable lines, each line beginning with the first letter of your ONE word food that you choose. (the food can only be one word; you can't use something like "tuna cassesrole.") Notice in my example, I like punctution used properly, and the first letter of each line should be bolded to make it stand out. I was not able to copy and paste my example with single lines like I wanted to, but if you double-space your lines, I don't mind. I base my points on creativity, good use of grammar and punctuation, following the rules of the form, and here is a little twist - those who choose to write on a food that I like and don't hate, you will get an extra point! Don't come asking me. I have plenty of examples scattered through my pages of foods that I love! (Nobody can do licorice!) If I have a question on syllable count, I'll be referring to Howmanysyllables.com. Have fun!
