Please Take this Moment with Me...

Blog Posted by Kabuteng P.Ink K.: 3/10/2012 1:59:00 PM
Amidst our own personal troubles and turmoils,
I hope you will take this moment with me to just remember...

To light a candle,

send out positive thoughts,
whisper a heartfelt prayer
just remember
in memory of those who
have lost, were lost
those who are losing
and who will still lose

It is so easy to forget,
especially if we are not directly affected
(although we are one way or another,
we just might not realize it)

The lives that were shattered
by the earthquake and tsunami,

those who were broken
and would never be whole again

To this day, I still get chills whenever I read/watch about this tragedy
how I pray for all the positive changes to go their way,
they are still struggling with So much

Let us remember
that Hope
         Faith
           LOVE

shall always be there
to keep us strong

All it takes is
one
drop
to make
Ripples of love

...and cherry blossoms still bloom

Tragic situation. If nations would stop fighting, their military forces could combine and ease some of the burden. Prayers going out.

They still show documentaries on the Tsunami in the UK. When I watch I am still in awe and saddened by the loss of many families, let alone the devastation caused. My thoughts are with all the people of Japan.

I know how your mind is on this now for what recently happened with the little boy who lost his life in your town. You are a very sensitive soul,Nikko, and we need more people like you in the world. Thanks for this blog and its reminder so we can remember all those who suffer in our prayers. Luv, Andrea

Life is too precarious, and fragile, and sadly the human side of us, forgets what really matters. We tend to focus on the most mundane, little nuisances, inconveniences, or squabble over trivial differences. We need to remind ourselves not to forget so quickly, there are people still suffering from unspeakable tragedy. As we go on our merry way, let us be grateful for the small things we take for granted, and continue to help and pray for those who aren't so lucky. Bless you Nikko, for the reminder.

Hi David, I don't think you are being pessimistic, just laying out the cards, so to speak-- and that possibility is indeed very worrying and disturbing, that's why the struggle continues, it hasn't really ended-- and like I said, we tend to forget about that as we are wrapped in our own lives, but just being aware can also do some good I suppose--how I hope and pray with you that they are wrong... when it comes to nature, no amount of preparation might be enough-- and yes, methinks that Chris would have good insight about that matter-- thanks for dropping by David :)-- have a good weekend...

hey Nikko I am with you all the way on this, but I hate to sound pesimistic but the worst is yet to come, as each tectonic plate under the ocean moves it allows more movement the next time,, I would like it if Chris could give an opinion, but I think all of the statistics are saying the next tsunami will be twice as destructive as the last, I sincerely hope they are wrong...David
