For the Soup Angel :)

There I was beating deadlines in my own ho-hum way,
when a Soup Angel decided to brighten my day
or to be more accurate, for one entire year
that I had enough reason to smile from ear to ear!

Please accept my heartfelt thank you for the membership
This is really amazing!! I won't let the ink drip!
I’ll definitely try to make the most out of it,
so you won’t be sorry for doing this, not one bit!

One day it would be my turn to share inspiration
My way of giving back, spreading poet’s devotion
I pray that God bestow on you His endless blessings,
for doing what you do, for making poet’s souls sing

I’m just really touched by this generous gesture,
thoughts behind it, I will truly forever treasure
Maybe I will never know your real identity,
But thank you, dear Soup Angel for believing in me ^_^!

**June 13, 2010 I hope this reaches this generous soul…dear Carolyn I sure would appreciate any note from you that this certain individual has read my poem…my endless thanks to you as well! ^_^

Thank you very much for your sweet words, Linda :) and I sure do hope that the storms over there have died down--or are you expecting another one? Hopefully no more power outages though! School's back tomorrow so I won't have as much free time :( but I'll definitely try my best to visit here & post poems & blogs!

Thank you so much, Carrie ^_^ you're such a sweetie to say that, wanna know a secret?? I was actually also hiding the pimple on my forehead, lol! Gosh I still get them at my age, it's unbelievable ;) and I'm really happy you like my poems, you yourself are a wonderful word weaver!! smiles ^_^!!

is it afternoon over there now?? this is my last day before school starts, so making the most out of it ;) i probably won't be here when you are :( and Carolyn's lips are sealed but I think she knows who it is...will pass on the message ;) --& yeah who knew we have some things in common?? i can't live without my glasses haha I have yet the guts to put something in my eye, wimpy me--but I don't think I'd be cool as you nor be able to do slam like you do ;) can't wait to see your pic so post it already!!
