I have written a Haiku called Brown Thrasher...

Challenge__ give training criticism to the work so that others can learn..

Make it a very simple critique so that those that want to learn more about writing Haiku can gain from the experience..

I am not going to take offense on this for I am opening the door on this one..

Remember do it in a tone of love and teaching...

I go on Monday for my stress test to see if they see anything going on with my heart that could be causing me to feel like I am going to faint and feeling dizzy...Yesterday was fairly non-push the button on my heart monitor and the day before..I had about three days in a row before then that I was pushing the button all the time..

I am going to Macon today to try to find the place where I have to go on Monday for we have no idea where it is located and we have to be there at 8:30 A.M.

I survived being nuked today..I am not any more wrinkled than I was when I went in to the center but not better off either..Sara

Thanks, Deb...Yes grain millet is a seed that comes in bird seed apparently..Some of the birds will rake out what they don't like and it will come up under the bird feeder..Companies will also put hemp seed in bird seed..I learned this by doing some reading after seeing this millet growing..Sara

I THINK what was the AH HA! for you [now you tell me if I'm wrong I'm trying to guess from what you said above] the it was inspiring, awesome that the dregs GREW into green grass [like something from what the birds concidered nothing?]

[fall morn Brown Thrasher/ visits empty bird feeder.../under millet grows] you are leaving out the articles like a, an, the in an attempt to come withing the 5/7/5 guidelines ..in haiku circles they call this Tontoism [ a referrance to the stilted way the white writers had Tonto talking to the Lone Ranger]

your first to lines are conceptually and gramatically connected that good! [under millet grows] is vague brings no image or sensory input? why did the fact the bird feeder had millet growing under it? give you a surprise? it seems unreal? was there grass growing from the fallen seed?

Good Luck with your test Sara, if its any consolation to you I had openheart surgery mid june. Have come along a treat, in fact I have started working again doing shorter hours til xmas. So dont worry about anything, whatever they find they can put right. .. Seren
