Just A Note And Update

Our son's health update

He is still having problems with nerves I guess you would call it. He barely can walk but at least with a walker or a walking cane is able to get about some which is better than not at all. He is still having problems with bowel and bladder function. He has bad days with emotions but it could be worse. We still need your prayers in that area. The last blood work showed that he no longer has any signs of the bad bacteria but he will always be subject to coming down with it again.

Our daughter Doris Culverhouse has posted some poems on here so some of you are familiar with her work and she also does art work as does her husband. They have one child, Caleb who is now 23 years old. He fell on Friday when getting in  his vehicle while leaving for  work. We heard late yesterday he has a broken femur, torn cartilage, and a torn medial meniscus. His knee cap popped out of place but went back in where it should have been. He is to see an orthopedic surgeon on Tuesday. We don't know where that will lead him. Our daughter, Phyllis, fell off the back of their pick-up truck or maybe she jumped off and fell onto the ground(asphalt) about 10 months ago and she did not have surgery just had to wear a immobilizing brace for 3 months and it finally all healed but she still is having trouble walking. Her injury was a broken tibia in two places so not the same injury at all. 

Please remember us in your prayers in these two or three areas. Life is not always easy but God is there to help us when we need Him. He is there even when we don't know we need him.

New update, November 15, 2022

Caleb saw the orthopedic surgeon today. He said that he did not break his femur, but the patella(kneecap) dislocated but went back in place, there is bruising, and possibly torn cartilage. He is sending him to PT for 2 weeks then he will see the surgeon again about the torn cartilage. Prayer healed the broken bone and it is a much less serious injury, but it still hurts, is swollen, and needs time to heal.
