The contest is over and Santa has to rest

He was so happy to give each of you his best

He hopes you enjoy this small neatly packaged Christmas gift

Of First place and that you get a Christmas holiday lift

I will comment on each poem as I get a chance to do so. I have my family coming this week end so I have work to do.

I did not place the poems in the order that I thought they should go just let them be arranged by the site.

Connie, I have gotten a good many chores done and what is might have to be the way it is except for little touch ups on Friday and Saturday. LOL. Grandma was slow but she was old. Thanks for dropping by. Sara ..I am still working on comments.

Sara, you are not able to place poems in your preferred order if you give them all the same placement. For some reason, I think because my name starts with an A, i often appear at the top of such contest winner lists and I feel self-conscious of it because it is putting me "above" others who can have poems just as good as mine, but because of alphabetical listing I go to the top. Anyway, I appreciate my win and I just know you had oodles of GREAT entries which I hope to see. Merry Christmas, Dear.

Andrea, I wanted to give everyone a first place as a gift from me for Christmas. I know that some enter contest and don't place or place low so I thought it would be nice to receive first place.
