I felt that all the entries were good and each had its own flavor so I felt they deserved recognition.

I hope that each one is happy with the way it turned out.

Whether your work was about the scent of Lilacs or the aroma of fresh baked bread.

Thank you for a very much for the inspiring contest, Sara! In searching for my topic, it was wonderful for me to recall how much my mother's walk-in closet with that powerful cedar scent meant to me. Andrea, When I was working in the school system, I had this little boy that told me there are three things that I love to smell: gas, cement, and tar. LOL. You and him would have enjoyed each other's company. Thanks for dropping by. Sara

haha, not sure about those other two, but I do enjoy the smell of paint. I am glad I was never a painter. I hear they get kind of brain damaged with age!!

thanks so much for the contest. I really enjoyed it, Sara. And congrats to the many winners. I also wanted to include that wonderful smell of gasoline that was so much more prevalent in gas stations when I was a kid. But I don't think many would have appreciated that. I sure did like that smell though!!
