Only About My Contest~~

I have had some good entries so far, however there is always a but, therefore, here it is.

Theme of my contest: Anniversary

It can be a happy poem, a sad poem, an angry poem, etc. about an anniversary.

Form/s required for the contest:

Please use one of the (A) forms on Poetry Soup's Site:

Like: ABC, Alliteration, Alexandrine(which can be up to 12 lines) or just two lines

or if you can find another (A) form on the internet feel free to use it.

Sara, are you saying the poems for your contest can only be 12 lines ?

Well, Constance, if they do the form incorrectly but have something good to say that relates to the contest then the judge has to make a decision as to whether to give it a place or disqualify it. Sometimes a hard call. Sara

Sara, thanks for explaining about your contest, I am good. I am getting some poems in my contest also that are not "S" forms or an "S" form but the form is not written correctly, so what can we do ?

I have several poems posted in the contest that are not an (A) form. One of them I know could easily be changed with a few tweaks like include some alliteration or change the first word of each sentence to start with a different letter of the alphabet in alphabetical order . Sara

Constance, No. If you do an ABC poem of course it can go the whole alphabet or just part of the alphabet. However, you wish on the ABC form. I was speaking or writing about only the Alexandrine. Try to do true to the form. I just want people to know if they put in a poem that is called narrative or Haiku. I won't read it and it will not place in the contest unless the first line grabs me for some reason. LOL..Sara
