****Life, My Contest, And Other Bits****

_{For all who have remembered us while my husband is recouperating from his second total hip replacement I want to say thank you!!!}

_{He is healing but it seems to be going at a snail's pace to him but he is doing well for this stage of the recovery process. He is getting his strength back by degrees and is doing more for himself which is letting some of the pressure off of me. God works miracles in our lives if we slow down to notice what He is doing. . Having friends that pray seems is a miracle in this day and age in which we live and I do thank you for prayers.}

_{I want to thank those that have entered my contest. I have had some nice entries which are right on target. If you haven't entered, please look at the contest and write a poem about a scent from childhood if smelled today brings back a powerful, wonderful memory. Only English Quintains accepted with only 2 or 3 stanzas please.}

_{Spring is trying to appear here in Georgia but winter keeps coming back to cool spring off. I noticed how some other states have had some snow and storms that have not been anywhere close to the end of winter. I know we are all looking forward to spring being in the air. I hope that spring comes and stays around for a long time with pleasant temperatures for us to enjoy.}
