Catherine Johnson Broussard is an African American poet, artist and author living in New Orleans Louisiana. "As a child, I have always had a need to write, now, with the guide of HIS Hands, I am able to do so. Mrs. Broussard's first work of poetry was published in 1982. Thereafter, her work has been published in serveral books and publications. Mrs. Broussard's first book of poetry titled "HIS WORDS" was published in 2019 her second book "I KNOW HIM" was published in 2024. Mrs.Broussard has a Masters Degree in Social Work from Southern University at New Orleans and is the owner of THE FREEDOM KEY OF NEW ORLEANS LLC and THE WEDDING BROOM COMPANY OF NEW ORLEANS.
