Forgotten Dreams

Forgotten dreams; still remembered. They tried to tell us. Not in words, but by the share in their eyes, the pace of their steps, the strength of their shoulders. Knowing not to speak, mouth close, but always finding a way. They sing their songs, loudly, we know their words. They are still heard, tucked away as needed Look for their steps on this earth. Walk the path; continue to clear the way. Many are aimed to follow, deep are your footsteps. Listen to the wind, it tells their stories. See their eyes in your eyes. Rest in the palm of their worn hands. Hear their cries, they are never silent. Remember those forgotten dreams. Many different paths to follow, they all lead to those dreams. Those never forgotten dreams. Loud; talking to ours hearts; guiding us still. Listen, you will see the way. Look at their steps; their feet tell the story. Look for their path; follow it. They made it straight for you. Remember their dreams, those forgotten dreams.
