Rivers
RIVERS
I have been through rivers all my life.
Guiding me one way then another.
Powerful rivers, quite rivers, stormy rivers, all with a purpose.
I seek these rivers, they tell me where to go, when to stop.
The rivers embrace me, teaches me to be silent at times.
Seeking all what is shown, I know much is unknown.
It strikes without warning as does life.
knowing no other way to teach lessons with must be learned.
I have sunk many times and will sink many more.
But never to see the deepest waters, my feet will not allow me.
The river flows steadily under my weaken feet.
Strength comes with the waves; I stay in it for a while;
always finding a way out.
Pulled one way then another, it never forgets to reclaim me.
Teaching me; guiding me one way than another.
