Its just for You
my pulse my ache
The desire to make You shake
its just for You
My air my life
Come closer be my wife
its just for You it grows in strength
the air I breath not worth this hate
its just for You come closer still

Yes
I know
It is
As you told me so
I see your soul
It flits like ghosts
Your head talks
A dark cold host
Do what you say
I give you all
Take it from me
Do not fall
Walk to light
Its there you see
Come, walk fast
Walk to me
Be free
Some poems don't need applause; they just need to be met with a quiet yes.
Love me because I am all green.
Love me because I am slimy.
Love me because I love water.
Are you answering with a yes?
You must be a boy loving frogs.
Are you saying no frogs for me?
You must be a girl with a cat.
Frogs are boys fun friends to play with.

With Christ, the 'Answer Scales'
Of life are very imbalanced. He
Says 'Yes' far more than 'No'.
So many "Yeses' are recorded,
But so few 'No's'; What gives?
All the'Yeses' did not come right away.
But the bottom line was usually 'Yes'.
For example,
There are multiple 'Yeses',
But allow me to give you four.
'We need more wine'.
He said, 'Yes'.
'Please heal me of my leprosy?'
He said, 'Yes'.
'May I come walking to you on the water?'
He said, 'Yes'.
'Please heal me of my blood disease'.
He said, 'Yes'.
And oh my friend, what countless times
Christ has said, 'Yes' to you and me.
you cut your hair
same as i did last summer
we are always coming back
to tie knots in loose ends
and let them unravel at our backs
while the pot boils over
if we observe
nothing happens
the water will never turn
You ask me if I love you
I can only answer this
the world vanishes when you are near
as I wander in the music of your soul
and inhale your beauty as I do the air I breathe
I'll dance in your eyes
like a butterfly hovering
in the fragrant petals of a blooming flower
with honeyed words dripping when spoken
to quiet our trembling heart
blooming in the fields of our yearning desire
where the sun rises on our face
beckoning love to fill our soul
with tender bonds of emotional realms
should I say more
or fall into your arms
and tenderly embrace the grace of love
inviting the fantasies of our dreams
calling into the wilderness of tomorrow
with whispered breath and hearts pulsating
with the melody of love
when our eyes close before each kiss
and I say...I love you
Subtle movement
a hint of smile
a deep long stare a pulse a while
She reads she writes she dances in my dreams
the feeling too strong as I follow
a long distant call
an urge we know well
she calls me now
with that bitting lip smell
Listening to the ball game on the radio
as he hums his favorite song on the internet
all the while creating effervescent poetry
and downing cream-and-sugar-drenched coffee…
See! A man CAN do several things simultaneously
~ as long as they’re all part of his world of fantasy

Yes God, I love you so, you make each day feel so new.
Yes God, we follow you, we try to make and follow all of your rules.
Yes God, we fall down, we make mistakes, we try to get up and make amends.
Yes God, we will pray each day, we hope for all the world to be okay.
Lifting prayers to God, today and always.
Yes, the light does not arrive
it accumulates,
Yes, not a switch but a gradient,
not a moment but an hour,
Yes, darkness and light argue slowly,
neither winning cleanly,
Yes, and the world is briefly,
beautifully, neither.
Yes, at four the darkness is still absolute and entire,
Yes, yet the birds open their throats and sing anyway,
Yes, not because they see the light but because they trust the turn,
Yes, you do not need the dawn before you begin.
Yes, by five the sky tries blue against the black,
Yes, a ghost-colour, a suggestion, a possibility rehearsed,
Yes, night and day inhabit the same sky without confusion
Yes, this is not contradiction, this is honesty.
Yes, by six the mist catches light differently than the hills do,
Yes, a tree steps forward, then the field, then the far ridge,
Yes, each thing returning to its name, its shape, its place,
Yes, having come through the dark without losing what it was.
Yes, this is the joy: the long accumulated yes,
Yes, light choosing the world, detail by deliberate detail,
Yes, the birds already knew and now, so do you
Yes, go through, go through, the light is always coming.
Americans are presenting, praying, reading, studying, and getting smarter.
Americans are moving like lightning speed, their minds and knowledge grow every day.
Like the sun shining bright, the Americans move like the light.
Americans are shining with the information, making a bright light for all to see.
Letting others learn of some of the ways that are not okay.
Americans are growing, looking back and analyzing, making notes and sharing views.
Americans are learning of how to make us have the best life we can.
Americans love, learn, forgive, clean, and make many changes to make us all feel okay.
Americans will forge forward, and make the changes we all can live with.
Americans pray for the brightest days, when the green and apples grow and look okay.
Americans pray for no taxes, for food to be almost free and growing for all to use and get full.
Americans pray for safety, for a place to walk and run and not be afraid.
Americans pray for God to clear way, to take all the haters and negative from our life.
Lifting prayers to God, today and always.
