winter chills summer-time wishes

Words slur out drains in an alley,
winter chills as the flooding reaches
her sleeping bag & freezing feet
she reminiscences summer-time beaches,
flawed are the pieces in an art gallery
the beauty is in the artist's reaches,
of a society's greet on a bus seat,
a messiah washes away the bloody.

DANDELION WISHES

The moon, a silver coin tossed high,
hangs in the velvet sky. 

Dandelions, ghosts in the grass,
glow faintly, catching borrowed light.

Each puff is a soft, silent prayer
carried on the breeze, destination unknown. 

“Do they reach the moon, 
these tiny seeds of longing?

Or do they tangle in the stardust,
 blooming anew on some distant world?

Far do wend ways of wishes

Till seen, to see her be the sole wish, which
Once fulfilled, to embrace her is the itch,
That done, there’s still no end, 
Ways of wish far do wend,
Never to part then be passion’s new pitch.

As I try to wish away, all the sadness that I feel;
 As if a night sky's falling star, could grant me something  real...
    If only one small wish, of what's eluded me all this life thus far;

One solution for slowing time down is to
live it up during your whole birthday month ~

At our age, it's not wise to cram too much celebrating

Don't Waist Your Wishes

It's that special day and you stroll the lonely beach, when out of nowhere you stub your toe on a lamp that falls right out of reach.

 Suddenly, a genie arises and looks deeply into your eyes. In your mind you hear a whisper, three wishes I will grant as long as you don't tell

then smaller

in the middle of desire
