My Final Wishes

Don't shovel a clod upon my head
when I'm dead
or put me inside a cardboard cup
when you burn me up.
Get rid of me at last
with a cannon blast.

Hello David, you absolutely got me with this one. Only you could take something as heavy as final wishes and turn it into a full-on grin. And that cannon-blast ending? Perfect. Now I am thinking and have many questions about Death! Blessings, Daniel

Hi Daniel! Glad you got a kick out of this one. I sometimes wonder why so much emphasis is placed on what happens to a body after death. I'm going to focus more on the part before I die - lol.

LOL...love it. Death is part of life and humor is darn near equal in my book. Well done, David.
