Whispers and Wishes

I sent out a whisper this morning 
"I love you, son"
Then, my mind and heart added
"I wish it could have been different"
in answer I felt God's presence and small
voice saying "I am here"

How comforting…he is here. When I knew my mom would die the following day, I went in and out of sleep, speaking to the Lord all night, embracing His presence. Hugs
