Wintry World
In the gathering gloom
of a winter's afternoon
as the light leaches
from the room
I'm more prone or inclined
as comforts tug
to recline supine
beside the hearth
here on the rug
with a good book
than step outdoors
as if you would take a look
outside the window
should you care
it's more than slightly
chilly out there
with snowflakes
blowing in the air
better on the floor I think
with a

Building castles: A Snowflake Poem
Swirling, twirling
Crisp and white,
It’s a snowflake
Kind of night…
Crystals shimmer
By moonlight,
Building castles
Till daylight…

Love's Embrace
Love came to me like a warm fire
Hugging me in a cold wintry night
As a burning bush you engulfed me
In your flames of desire
A little delay till our souls met
Never caused any harm
It was God's miracle
That brought us together in this cosmic bond
But it takes time to embrace the pain
Of not

On A Cold Wintry Day
On a cold wintry day of December
a praying owl with jewel eyes of ember
helps the stars in heaven dismember,
as the moon prays to remember.

A wintry morning
Winter's arrival always excites,
Waking me in the dawn's soft lights.
Unfazed by the chilling cold, I step out,
My abode to the garden ,Nature's gift ,no doubt .
A tranquil place ,a delight to behold,
Streamed with visitors, Young and old.
The breeze blows gently, birds chirp with glee,
On the pebble path, I

A Wintry Smile
As she dances to a frosty tune
Her wintry smile is cold as ice,
She waltzes midst leafless trees -
They shiver at her touch!.
She calls the north wind
and blizzards come
Her cold heart,
Thaws in
Spring

Thaw the Wintry Snow
Winter has cast its strangling hold inside and outside.
The joys I have known are gone.
Cold winds blow bleak and harsh.
The flowers in my garden have wilted and withered.
All things sweet have passed and flown away.
Flakes of snow, layer on layer, lie piled within,
And harden as rocks with worms of fear inching their way,
To eat away

Winter
Winter’s silent soul
Kisses away the darkness
With trembling flakes, snow feathers
Cardinals whisper
Blessing the breathless prayers
From hearts who feel love’s inklings
Soundless as snowdrifts
On the edge of a shadow
Caressing the mountains, the stars
Imaginations
Lift the spirits with lights,
Dazzling rays of hopeful fires
Burning away nights
Hues of laughter, kindness sighs
Erasing the fears, the tears
Stirring memories
Moments who prick the spirit
Collecting joy,
...

Jack Frost
All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost; the old that is strong does not wither, deep roots are not reached by the frost. - J. R. R. Tolkien
Wintry frosts silence the starving night skies,
Aloof as the freezing stars, glistening
In biting waves from distant sun’s disguise,
Gentle ramblings, deer and

Frosty Wintry Scenes
hot tub on the deck
cold breeze strikes steaming water~
In the mist, souls waltz
gloomy day rainbow
quiet brook below your steps~
weepy willow trees
maybe the next day
the breeze will blow in my back~
so charming and swell
thunder and lightning
the rain comes down with fierce fists~
roof being blasted

Wintry Breeze
Wall of smoky snow
On the entrance path of sun
No light but pale sight on earth
Biting cold in bone
Furnace warm with fiery light
Wintry breeze enjoys brashly
