A Wintry Smile

As she dances to a frosty tune Her wintry smile is cold as ice, She waltzes midst leafless trees - They shiver at her touch!. She calls the north wind and blizzards come Her cold heart, Thaws in Spring

Joseph, what a wonderful image of winter with a "smile" on her face and a "waltz" in her steps. I love the image of winter looking to spring to "thaw" her "cold heart." Thank you for this delightful wintery picture! Sending you joy and blessings for a Merry Christmas.

Those "leafless trees" truly "shiver at her touch!" You're exactly right, Joseph. Winter is the next season upon us, indeed. Bundle up, my dear friend. Many wonderful blessings to you. :) Hugs, Brandy

Burrr...a well written and effective Nonet! She's precocious with her chilly ways. Already I'll be glad when her cold heart thaws...not a winter fan...but I enjoyed your poem. Have a great evening, Sara
