Wintry White Wonder World

"What miracle of weird transforming is this wild work of frost and light, this glimpse of glory infinite?" – John Greenleaf Whittier

Soft snow swirls down from heaven like God's sweet kisses,
Naturally cold candies, their flavour unique,
I catch them on my tongue and they melt in my mouth,
I twirl with the snowflakes under the winter sky,
This frosty white weather was created for me,
I love its cozy stillness and its cool chillness,
Snow angels and snowmen add their magical touch,
Icicles hang like crystal daggers from rooftops,
Adding to the nippy niveous nature dance,
Fluffy floating feathers of an angelic bird
Feefle as flakes... tender freezing flames from beyond,
How I love this still, chill, wintry white wonderworld!
