On A Cold Wintry Day

On a cold wintry day of December a praying owl with jewel eyes of ember helps the stars in heaven dismember, as the moon prays to remember.

Dear Rose, your golden pen spills a mystical night scene, both earthly and ethereal. I adore your imagery "a praying owl with jewel eyes of ember" who helps the stars and moon to realign and remember. I enjoyed the sensory imagery of "cold wintry day" juxtaposed with "eyes of ember" - subtle yet very effective! Warmest wishes my inspiring friend.. ~Susan
