Oblivion

Poem ‘Oblivion’
Drastic times calls forth bold demands,
Not quiet hearts or passive hands.
For change to rise, the roofs and roots must shake,
To build a new, immoral and unethical ways must break.
Sometimes it takes the patience to fall,
To raise up justice, loud and tall.
Opposition paves the path, it’s true,
For something better, bold, and new.
Wrongdoing for too long has been bought.
For so long, people of the past have fought
Acts of misconduct is in plain sight.
We must fight wickedness and injustice
With all our might.
Together we must unite and stand strong.
Before we go down the path of oblivion
From them doing wrong.

Chains of Poverty

In the corners of our world
Lies a pain that we can't ignore
A cry for help, a call for aid
From those who hunger, cold and poor

Their voices muted, by the noise
Of our own lives, so full of joys
But if we pause, and truly see
Their plight, we'll know what we must be

For poverty, it's not a curse
But a problem we must all reverse
With every step, and every act
We can help bridge this cruel fact

We can give hope, we can give love
We can lift their eyes, to the skies above
For in our hands, lies the power
To change their fate, in this very hour

So let us rise, with hearts of gold
And break the chains, of poverty's hold
For in their smiles, we'll find our own
And build a world, that's truly home

A world where none are left behind
And every soul, can truly find
The love, the peace, the joy they need
To flourish, and to truly be freed

So let us stand, with hands held high
And wipe the tears, from every eye
For in this fight, we must unite
And end poverty, with all our might.

Premium Member Deep Thoughts

Far beyond the center of my thoughts,, like an untouchable realm I can see
Pieces and facts merging like salt water and sand at the sea
Turbulent waves keep rolling, before the sand at shore is wet and dries
My heart breaks for so many, watching as the mind slowly dies
It's easy to say that all will be fine, enhanced by days of prayer
But the truth is people are suffering, many not speaking , they don't dare
Deep inside the people, what is happening is known to be wrong
Just like in timing sound in the playing of an off-tune song
Although I write of seeds from atrocity, in words that are sad
We must have courage to stay strong , to overcome what is bad
So much has become twisted and now things are upside-down
To level all this out, we must unite so that we do not drown
An ocean filled with wisdom, that is created together
To face the biting storms in different types of weather
So swim with courage and strength, reach hands to another
              - The barren desert is nothing but the other -

Premium Member We Must Unite

If we think our country can go on like this
We couldn’t be more wrong on any day
The enemy has already been empowered
They have infiltrated within our borders
Attacks prove what they are capable of doing
Weakened, divided Americans cannot manage this scenario
We fight the wars abroad, now it is here on our soil
Law enforcement cannot be expected to keep up with this
If we want lives saved and to protect our country
- The only way is for Americans to ‘unite’ -
We must do what is right for our country together
Not fighting with each other, not ignoring the facts
The time is now to come up with positive solutions
It is imperative to save Americans and our country

A Winter's Plea - Collaboration With White Wolf

The cold winter has arrived
and the pack leader must be strong
he gathers the tribe to discuss preservation
as he does every time winter comes

With their ally, Raven, cawing nearby
The trees shiver from heavy snow
A scented breeze captures their nostrils
With the hunt now ready to commence

"Now listen up my pack
we must unite to survive
as the food supply is scarce
we must work together to last the cold"

The alpha aware, only one in ten hunts succeed
He lets out a haunting howl
then one by one the others join in
it was as if they were trying to outdo one another

"We will not let the elements defeat us
we will all thrive and overcome
for there is hope yet
follow me and you will see"

"While our primal instincts take control
we are bound together on this earth
howl at the moon for we know of her power
she guides us through our nightly prowls"

Now simultaneously the pack cheers with confidence
There now filled with the fire of life burning inside them
Into the night they dart off in search for their survival
Forever these wild-hearted shall roam freely the land

How I Delight Nature

Once i thought for nature from insight
How can i make nature delight
Enhancing flora and fauna is our right
Striving for them not in bad plight
I thought one day in night
Prosperity in nature make better diet
We must unite but not fight
Only then will regain our future bright

Silenced No More

Terrorism hits Paris on a scale so grand
Fueled by a darkness we'll never understand
Evil's at its true core
We must unite while demanding answers
Calculate solutions for global cancers
We'll be silenced no more

Premium Member Forgiveness

In flash of lightning on clouds' darkest tide
Christ gave light to the world -He gave His life
to forgive all our sins, He suffered…died
Exemplifying His loving deeds for
we’re His children, in Him we must unite.
His sacrifice gave Him unrivalled sore
to make His Love reign in this world, not grudge
Hatred inflicts pains of body, mind...heart--
Spoiling one's relationship, soul is smudged.
No sadness follows or unending war
if our contrite heart will swallow its pride
and His Holy Spirit mediates and guide.
Jettison our heart’s hurts through forgiveness
and sail on life’s light flow with happiness.

Also inspired by a bible verse:
Ephesians 4:32

You Speak Correctly

YOU SPEAK CORRECTLY

I heard from the beginning,
From the yawing of the sun in the morning,
“We must unite, strong becoming”
You speak correctly.

I smelled out of yesterday night
Before the outer call of the birds
Astonishing the reddish of the sun set
“We must be free, democratic state becoming”
You speak correctly.

You beaten my ear
As you was eager letting me knowing;
You are from the civil wars’ well of SUDAN
Hesitating on the innocent majorities executions
The fight of elders, lead the children cry
Don’t blind your eyes in reality, you have to speak correctly.

Just a Dream

At the heart of my country lies a monolith
Shimmering in the radiant hot transparent light
Ever changing hues, a chameleon at the edge of night,
Uluru the natives call it, a meeting place, where we can sit

In my dream, I welcome you here,
Whether your skin is black or brown, yellow or white
For peaceful parley, at this stela desert site
We come together from far and near

Whether your home is a hovel, a castle or cave,
Derelict or architecturally inspired, an admirable sight
We gather as equals with identical plight
Our globe’s bounty, we must share and save

All children born of mother earth
Whether we live in suburbia, zareba or inner city height
Different tho we may be we must unite
To save the planet of our birth

Africa

Africa
Africa the song of the time
You blessed
In every turn
Every time
Your bless to huddle
All the time
As your drums
Daintily play for the soul
As granted holder
You Africa
For the hope
Africa your beauty
On the face
Africa
You
The bounty of the earth
I belong to her
She belong to heart
And the love is all what repaint
If there's heaven
on the earth
oh then mother
Africa is you
No matter west
No matter east
No matter north
Or the south
In wholeness
Yours mine
From top to toe
Africa you heartily
sacred hub
For the peace
And that ought to be
To please
Africa in my heart
Africa is my home
Africa
We must unite
Let to put in sum
what we have
And then the sun
Let to shine
In all Africa
Let we take the lead
As we deserve
Africa

Earth

Open water now flows,
Dividing the ice cap with a stream.
The devastation grows,
yet we ignore Earth’s scream.
Mankind must fight global warming,
we must unite and find a way.
The results grow more alarming,
with each passing day.
Earth as we know it is dying,
from our own foolish actions.
The government first tried denying,
now they hinder us with distractions.
Humanity must join together and commit,
Save Earth or perish on it.

Politics

why is yesterday politics destroying todays man
is this his will was it just or can it be a part of his plan
us as people should put voting on a strike
because neither you or me can with stand another tax hike
america focus lyes in the wrong place
rebuilding other countries why ours go to waste
and lets not make this black or white
lets not lay blame to who is wrong or right
for this time we must unite
and look at the big picture its both of our fight
look at the little man and the kids born to poverty
america is in trouble and she need the help of both you and me
focus on what is broken and think of a quick fix
or fall to the man with the bag of tricks
or unite and write our own politics.

To Obtain Peace

We must unite, unite
Voices need to be heard
Gaps need to be bridged
Wrongs need to be righted
Fences need to be mended
Differences must be talked about
From east to west, north to south

Many think peace is not obtainable
Today, tomorrow
But through faith in god
And is divine plan
We can do anything

Like the lyrics go
"Give peace a chance"

A Nation Divided

A nation divided, it’s people torn
Mothers and widows grieve and mourn
It doesn’t matter if they wore blue or gray
They were sons and husbands on that battlefield today
It’s not who lost or won
We must unite our nation and make it again one
All here who fought and died today
Will always be heroes not just for today
