too much time wasted on …
comparing, complaining, criticizing
listening to others’ opinions of you
thinking some people do not like you
life is too short to waste time!
spend time on …
thanking, appreciating what you have
ignoring others’ opinions of you
accepting not everyone will like you
knowing yourself, strengths and imperfections

If time is not properly managed
Surely life will be getting damaged
As time will leave us urgently
We mustn't touch troubles gently
Time if is wasted without sense
The route to defeats, it opens
Instead if we are very careful
Victories are indeed plentiful
Time can never be retrieved
Something must be achieved
We must work in full flow
To get the gold, let us go
Only by carefully planning
We can be always winning
In case we allow loopholes
Our life, only demon controls
Never postpone today's act
A perfect strategy, you enact
Go to win and pluck success
Glory, only toil can possess.

Like sands
Through the hourglass
My thoughts percolate
Between instant gratification
And long-term resolution.
Like an unfaltering pool
Of sinking sand
My dissatisfaction agglutinates
With foolish gibberish
To obscure optimism.
Like a withering stalk
My shrivelling aspiration
Matches and clashes
With swelling inertia
Resulting in dispiriting
Deprivation of direction.
Like a valley of ash
My barren essence
Gasps for restitution -
For a preserving elixir
To cogently overturn
The demise of time.

I simpy don't understand my new psychiatrist
I've already completed three one-hour sessions
He sits there transfixed, listening to me as if I were
the most interesting person to ever walk this earth...
I can't tell you one single thing about this fellow
other than he wears jeans, he's left-handed
and he doesn't need listening lessons
Next session, he talks or I walk
Why is he sitting there, wasting my time

Wasting time regretting for things done leaves little time for things that have to be done!

Tires grind,
Long car rides,
Never seize memories.
Wheels turning,
Forever thinking,
The next step.
Prepping myself,
For outcomes,
In the past.
Lasting through the present,
Giving future mistakes,
Taking fates turn.
Writing histories pretense,
While running out,
Of Time,
To exist.

Wasting time regretting for past failures is the surest way our future successes to undermine!

Just another silly rhyme
to waste another bit of time.
I find that if I need a rest,
this is the way I do it best.
I do not have to sit and think
into my mind I quickly sink.
Relaxed like this I meditate
and writing enters through the gate.
The words then flow from off my pen,
don't ask me why or even when.
I feel they're drifting from somewhere
where love abounds and people care.
I find that it can soothe my soul,
this lack of seeking for a goal.
Waiting there while words appear
while all my worries disappear.
So now you've read my silly rhyme
you'll see how I can waste my time.
But everyone deserves a rest
so just enjoy what 'you' do best!

I meet people who carry their anger and disappointment as a badge
Mad about everything
Don't want to lose
Only care about winning
They are dying
They lose friends
They lose their children
They lose their family
Pride rules
The five letter world that leads you
To winning in your mind
Empty and alone on special days

The winds are picking up out of the east
Large billowing clouds begin to move on shore
Like giant balloons at a Macy’s Day Parade
They begin to take shape
And our imaginations get the better of us
There’s Dumbo, that big gray one lumbering overhead
There’s a fish or is it a snake?
We lay there our backs against the windshield
Hoping time never stops
Wanting the memories to last forever
A fantasy that never pops
The wind is getting gusty now
It’s about to rain on our parade
The creatures have turned into a dark line
Edging upon our dreams of time
Closer now time will stop
As the rain comes down
We run for cover of the car
Inside we smile and laugh
For what seemed like a waste of time
Was never spent so well

When you're young
You go out and hang
With all the guys and girls
Your place is saved
Just expected to be seen
Is it wrong to
Stay instead?
To lay in bed and wish
You had that kind of life
To be expected
All alone
While the youth roam
The streets
The lines on my face
Have yet to come
I force myself
To pick the phone up
And have a little fun
Then cancel from
Unexplained fear
Help me speak
Help me speak
Hear me out
Help me speak
Help me speak

Within the songs of yesterdays
Tomorrows are but dreams
Todays are never evident
By overpowered screams
We want the very best in life
We dream in great detail
But changing ways we just don’t do
So often, then, we fail
Sing not, then of tomorrows
For today shall be our day
Change heart and soul of being
And we will find our way
Wait not then for the outcome
We make it on this day
Sing, not, then of tomorrows
Or else, life you will delay

Fair lanes come my way,
keeps the foxes in tact.
Stars shining in the sky and rain falling
helps the air stay so clean.
Rolling stones over the road,
makes me leave for another way,
flowers so sweet on a day as this
closed windows makes our house so hot.
Music in the air makes a nice tune,
to hear so fine, dances go well with it,
songs would be so dull and how could
we play a piano with no notes to go by.
Picture taking could not come to pass
without a camera to look through lens,
no poses we would make no smiles,
to see and no photo album to keep.
Make sense with your time and do
not waste it, dabbling or babbling,
say what you must, make words
count, then take a nap to ease your nerves.
A hefty meal hits the spot to give
you peace of mind so now you can
get down to what you must do,
and not take the wrong road.
