Best Wasting Time Poems

Wasting Time

Just another silly rhyme
to waste another bit of time.
I find that if I need a rest,
this is the way I do it best.

I do not have to sit and think
into my mind I quickly sink.
Relaxed like this I meditate
and writing enters through the gate.

The words then flow from off my pen,
don't ask me why or even when.
I feel they're drifting from somewhere
where love abounds and people care.

I find that it can soothe my soul,
this lack of seeking for a goal.
Waiting there while words appear
while all my worries disappear.

So now you've read my silly rhyme
you'll see how I can waste my time.
But everyone deserves a rest
so just enjoy what 'you' do best!

Wasting Time

I have something to tell you.
I have to say it right away for if I don't something bad may happen to you today.
I really don't want to say it because I know you will hate it, but there's noting I can do to rehabilitate it.
So I might as well say it so it will be over and done.
Holding all this bad news inside me isn't much fun.
Please do not run when I tell you this thing and please do not cry because it would cause me much pain.
I wish you the best even though I bring you the worst.
This bad news is like a curse.
Why did I have to be the one to tell it to you!?
Why couldn't it be another to tell you these words so cruel?
As a mule I am too stubborn to speak.
But I must tell you or my friends will call me weak.
I seek only happiness but today I did not find.
These words I have to tell you lay heavily on my mind.
Time is running out with every word I speak.
I must tell you now or forever hold my peace.
For someone may die if I don't tell you now.
I am sorry to say all is not well.
So I must go on and tell you what I came here to tell...well I did have something to say.
You must believe this is true why else would I come here and be saying all this to you?
Give me a moment and it will all come back.
I don't know why but sometimes my mind gets off track.
How could I lack remembering such a thing?
Well, if anyone gets hurt tell them I was to blame.
I'm sorry I just can't remember...so I guess you'll never know.
But I'm even more sorry you just wasted your time reading this here poem!

Wasting Time Is a Crime

If time is not properly managed
Surely life will be getting damaged
As time will leave us urgently
We mustn't touch troubles gently

Time if is wasted without sense
The route to defeats, it opens
Instead if we are very careful
Victories are indeed plentiful

Time can never be retrieved
Something must be achieved
We must work in full flow
To get the gold, let us go

Only by carefully planning
We can be always winning
In case we allow loopholes
Our life, only demon controls

Never postpone today's act
A perfect strategy, you enact
Go to win and pluck success
Glory, only toil can possess.

TIC TOC-TIC TOC-TIC-TOC TIME STANDS STILL FOR NO ONE---

Tic-toc-tic-toc, tic-toc-tic-toc
It could never be your will;
Time stands still for no one;
Premise to the task;
Tic-toc-tic-toc, tic-toc-tic-toc
Whether smooth or rough
You may kill time;
But one day time gonna kill you;
The thrill is here;
But one day the thrill be gone;
You may live short;
Tic-toc-tic-toc, tic-toc-tic-toc
You may live long
But Time stands still for no one
Did you hear? Me
Time stands still for no one
You may now run time;
But one day times gonna run you;
You may start fast and long;
But one day you’re gonna last either right or wrong;
As you may yet still kill time;
But one day time gonna kill you;
The thirst will be more thirsty;
As the hungry ever more feminist;
There’s no need for food in heaven or hell;
So stand on in eternity on Earth you choose;
Once in the casket to late to move;
Bind the devil on every hand;
Stop living for today think eternal;;
Tic-toc-tic-toc, tic-toc-tic-toc
Whether smooth or rough
You may kill time;
But one day time gonna kill you;
The thrill is here;
But one day the thrill be gone;
You may live short;
Tic-toc-tic-toc, tic-toc-tic-toc
You may live long
But Time stands still for no one
Did you hear? Me
Time stands still for no one
You may now run time;
But one day times gonna run you;
So stop wasting time, so time won’t waste you;
You choose today which time is you;
Peace and love eternal life is better;
If you use time wisely now for heaven?
Time stands still for no one;

On This Road Again, Wasting Time.

So good to see you once again.
We could sit and talk about it
Forever.
Or continue on with the journey
Down this road of entity.
It’s a long way
Before we get there.
Many bridges we will ravage,
Before we come home.
We’ll signify on the way,
There is so much ahead of us
I don‘t want to miss.

Look at those meager souls
Out there in the distance,
Bedeviled.
They seem so vacant.
Can’t they discern?
Through his eyes they will see tranquility.
To conceive a path on the way.
A passage to convey with immunity
On their way home.
Everyone will want to see.
Surely this, they will miss.

As i turn from the distance
To see you beside me,
My focus seized by a reflection.
The shine of deity
within your eyes.
Darkness has receded,
Skies filled luminous red and purple.
The end of the road is sublime,
Over those gates peer into ecstasy.
Hope to identify her facade.
Cant wait to meet him.
My own sea of rebuttal
Needs to be set in place.

Drifted soul in the shadows
Squint toward divinity.
This road is far too long
To be stricken with reason.
He doesn’t believe you can’t see.
Surely this, you will miss.

Wasting Time

Tires grind,
Long car rides,
Never seize memories.
Wheels turning,
Forever thinking,
The next step.
Prepping myself,
For outcomes,
In the past.
Lasting through the present,
Giving future mistakes,
Taking fates turn.
Writing histories pretense,
While running out,
Of Time,
To exist.

The Demise of Time

Like sands
Through the hourglass
My thoughts percolate
Between instant gratification
And long-term resolution.

Like an unfaltering pool
Of sinking sand
My dissatisfaction agglutinates
With foolish gibberish
To obscure optimism.

Like a withering stalk
My shrivelling aspiration
Matches and clashes
With swelling inertia
Resulting in dispiriting
Deprivation of direction.

Like a valley of ash
My barren essence
Gasps for restitution -
For a preserving elixir
To cogently overturn
The demise of time.

WASTING TIME

soft breezes tease life
 they know the power of a storm
 mother... and father
 ~
 mother... and father
 they know the power of a storm
 soft breezes tease life
 ~
 six hundred years...
 then perhaps the end of life...
 says Stephen Hawking
 ~
 planet earth... its fools...
 the human race... idiots...
 our greed killing life
 ~
 heeded not warnings
 past the point of no return
 and no ones bothered...
 ~
 to save the planet
 indeed... if it can be done
 stop all pollution...
 ~
 all transportation
 made public... no private cars
 no private aircraft...
 ~
 ban synthetics...
 unnecessary products...
 we want to survive...
 ~
 as I write... believe...
 mass extinction is for real
 we must help stop it
 ~
 six hundred years...
 we want six-hundred plus more...
 or is it just me...
 ~
 battling each other
 has to stop... like pollution
its killing the world
 ~
 wake up... wake up... wake
 coz... unless we at least try...
 our kids... no future
 ~
 look out your window
 enjoying what you see
 for how much longer
 ~
 look at mars... as is
 planet earth's future... could be...
 no... I'm not joking
 ~
 heed the warnings
 why would scientists all lie...
 I'll ask again... WHY...

Premium Member Traffic Jam Schadenfreude

Every morning, I work from home
I turn on the radio, if I'm unhappy and alone
You hear so much misery when the car jams are told
Make you feel happier, if you're mean and cold

The outbound George has a disabled tractor trailer
Some drivers now are cursing like a sailor.
On the inbound Holland there is police activity
Imagine all those slowed drivers, it's like captivity.

(chorus)
There are people who like pulling tails of cats
Others freakout Grandma by attaching bells to bats
But me, I enjoy the misfortune of those who drive
Comparing our fates makes me feel more alive.

On the Pulaski skyway it's a waiting game
I bet Mr. Pulaski would have not delegated his name.
Its bumper to bumper after Passaic Avenue
I bet those drivers are steaming too.

At the exit ramp an accident partly blocks
That teen driver just learned life has hard knocks.
Heavy delays, so many drivers annoyed
But the traffic jams give me Schadenfreude.

The Lincoln backs into Weehawken tight,
They’ve been stuck in that tunnel since about midnight
Makes you wonder, and contemplate
Or if you're like me, you feel really great.

Add up all the lost hours of lives
No need for bombs, no need for knives
Time that could have been used for better things
All the waste, we should have wings.

I simpy don't understand my new psychiatrist
I've already completed three one-hour sessions
He sits there transfixed, listening to me as if I were
the most interesting person to ever walk this earth...

I can't tell you one single thing about this fellow
other than he wears jeans, he's left-handed
and he doesn't need listening lessons
Next session, he talks or I walk

Why is he sitting there, wasting my time

Premium Member stop wasting time

too much time wasted on …
comparing, complaining, criticizing
listening to others’ opinions of you
thinking some people do not like you
life is too short to waste time!
spend time on …
thanking, appreciating what you have
ignoring others’ opinions of you
accepting not everyone will like you
knowing yourself, strengths and imperfections

Wasting Time

I meet people who carry their anger and disappointment as a badge
Mad about everything
Don't want to lose
Only care about winning
They are dying
They lose friends
They lose their children
They lose their family
Pride rules
The five letter world that leads you
To winning in your mind
Empty and alone on special days
