Tinsel and Death

Christmas isnt just about the presents and giving
Lets remember the less fortunate scraping a living
Third world continents filled with death and starvation
Blood being shed from nation to nation

I ask you reflect in this season of good cheer
The hungry and homeless lives filled with fear
So when your presents have been opened and the food as been fed
Spare a thought for our soldiers and there blood being bled

If it be a god or a prophet you worship with love
Look into your soul and give your conscience a shove
Lets get rid of the greed drop the guns and talk to each other
The world needs to unite as one as sister and brother

Why Do We Fail To Think

Id throw my life away,
Id run from the fame, and let go of the fortune,
if the world finally decided to stop all its commotion,
all these wars so infantile. the talk of blowing up another with a nuclear missile.
is this really what its come down to?
a chance at life, or death depending on who takes the first step?
we see our men die behind enemy lines, we watch our loved ones fall to their knees
a tear for a lost loved, a son, a daughter,
what if it was you? would you feel the same?
being shipped off in a body bag, given to your family with a flag and a pair of tags?
Id run away from all of this is only i could,
because once you realize its your best friend
the world is empty. You realize its a cold dark place,
never so tranquil, and never at ease,
we fight for what we cant have, and we are willing to spill blood,
Lose ourselves and our loved ones,
but we never think of the consequences till
The End.

War War and More War

Why is it that they always want to fight.
They puff out their chests and all say I'm right.
We were taught when young to play nice with others.
Something taught to us all by our loving mothers.
What a much better place that this world would be.
If they let all the mothers run the country.
If they'd get out of hand they'd get a time out.
Could you see all the leaders sent to the corner to pout.
But all joking aside this is getting out of hand.
Sending our loved ones to fight all over the land.
If we could just call a truce and start over anew.
I think that the whole world wouldn't know what to do.
We could live our lives normal with out all the fear.
It's the wish that I have for bringing in the new year.

Agent Arkansas 90766 Beta (Prelude)

Striped of your name and trained to kill
Put a glaze over your eyes and war-forge skill

Suit you in armor and give you a gun
expect you to follow orders but you run

Part of the crew 49 all standing
awaiting the chance to escape the Landing

the machines try to stop you but your to good
your wits are sharp and do what you should

The delta shield scratched into your metal
you can crush the world like a rose petal

you live in a world of lies
but you can change it this time

but you know what you must do
you should fight for what's true

you are the Agent that got away (the only one who has)
Arkansas is your name (the world rests in your grasp)

The Heart of the Brave (For Eric Edward)

Eric Edward, what an inspiration
Fighting for a cause in a dangerous location

Browns, greens and dark colours match
Loading shells and weapons in a particular batch

The glint in his eye of that brave young soul
Heart beating pure, being home safe is his goal

Orders given to a job he may not understand
Passionate for his country on this foreign land

Heat blazing down on his fragile body
Brotherhood so strong, never shoddy

Maybe he is used as a pawn in a political battle
Unlike weak politicians, he’ll never throw in his rattle

Leading by example in a courageous way
In a world that looses patriotic views every day.

I remember the individuals who risk their lives
They also have Sons, mothers, brothers and wives

Lets not forget ‘Sweetheart’ who worries every night
Mother to her child who worries, hoping he’ll be alright

Never judge on what is right and what is wrong
The world is a long way from singing a harmonic song

Thank you for the efforts of the brave
Hopefully one day its your life I will be able to save

Come home safe to your worried mother
The day will be soon to embrace one another.

God bless.

The Compass

Even though I will be half a world away,
I will be thinking of you.
My mind will frequently travel back to you,
knowing you'll be there, waiting.
Our love growing stronger with our sepatation.
I will lean heavily upon your ear
to maintain my sanity.
A sounding board, you will become,
my conscious and savior, in another world.
A world devoid of hate, hunger, and death.
You will keep me centered.
We will be unified in my quest.
Your love will be my north star,
the needle of my compass
guiding my home to you.

The End

I can't bear it anymore..
Waiting for people to arrive
Expecting the world to tend to me
Hoping the world will just fall into my hands
Continuing my laziness and procrastination
People liking me and not knowing why
Wishing instead of taking action
Lacking skills I need to make my life successful
Living in a home with no peace or privacy
Pretending I'm someone I wish I could be
Drawing pieces that fail in competition
Writing random lines of complaints
Feeling the need for pity
Being a hypocrite..

Do I try harder?
I've grown too accustomed to laziness
Do I wait or at least TRY to take action?
I don't have the motivation or the power
Am I just making excuses?
I probably just need to quit complaining
Am I too paranoid?
I just care about my life unlike the rest
Do I continue?
I can't continue in sanity
What can I do?
I'm too confused to know

Where can I scream?
Where can I relax?
Where is there peace?
When will the suffering stop?
What is wrong with me?
How did I get this way?
Who is really there for me?
How can I just escape?

Too many questions!
STOP!!!!
..

Taking the Last Breath of Life

Colors fading from view
The sun dies slowly in the sky
Clouds grow and churn above
Casting shadows on an empty landscape
The rotting smell of sulfur fills the air
Even as the lowliest creature struggles
Fighting for a final gasp of air
Air that no longer exists
It lowers its head
Its eyes stare straight ahead
Looking into world around it
A world that once had life
Then man came to be
A single cross word
Shouted across a turbulent ocean
Twenty millennium of progress
Stone to metal to nuclear fusion
Leads to an ultimate act
Everything is lost in a mere second
The press of a single button
And the world exists no more
Except for a single creature
That has taken its final breath
And the Earth is once again as it was
A ball of water, rock and gas
Nothing more
Nothing less
Just a ball

Commando Death

Felled down to ground by a terrorist’s round,
A rendezvous with death.
Twas the destiny by fate indeed, that Unnikrishnan met,
Plucked away into his prime, gallant efforts in vain.
Had he have cautioned slightly more accompanied by twain,
The nation would have gained a son,
And saved his loved ones pain.
For every bullet made for gun a marking on its path,
The one’s it slenderly misses, live to tell the aftermath.
A man confined to train so hard,
Protected from all glass and shard.
Unfortunately too soon the day had come,
To bid goodbye to all, not some.
If only every one of us, had learnt to love our neighbour,
The world so rosy we would find,
And never have to labour.
Our world off course without remorse,
Have lost themselves a major.
The enemies from a neighbouring land,
Had won themselves a wager.
A thing we must take notice of,
And never fail to remember,
Is everytime a life is lost,
It’s someone’s family member.

-Prince Freakasso
(Painter & poet)

Note: Major Unnikrishnan was a Commando Killed in battle against terrorists in Mumbai,
India, on 26/11/2008.

When Did the World Change?

When did the world change?
Hippies danced by the thousands
Protesting war waged for another land
Not to protect our country
To help a country a half a world away
Music helped spread the word
Words about peace and caring
Songs of the honest feelings of the young
Influenced by drugs
Their visions widened
Seeing the truth behind all of the lies
They screamed to elders locked in their ways
Politicians paid to create wars
The President watched Americans die on TV
While he ate stuffed pheasant and fois gras
The sounds of clinking glasses
Drown out thousands of voices
They only heard money and power
Influence and corruption
Not the death screams of American soldiers
Forty years later
The story is the same
The politicians are the same
Greedy, power hungry vampires
More American soldiers are dying
Their blood flowing on Iraqi sand
The politicians feed big business
Big business feeds from the soldier’s blood
Yet, no one says a word
There are no hippies
No songs of protest
This time there is no conscience.
No independent thought
No one cares.

The World

How can the world be saved,
the answer is beyond the grave,
in the darkness can't be found by the light.
Explosion all around me by day and by night,
enclosed by emptiness,
nothing but a blade and my rift.
Somebody wanted me to destroy myself,
end my life- chance of a family maybe even a wife,
in the darkness men are endangered
minds void easy angered.
A confused soul devoured by men hole,
their is no struggle,
it's like a dog trying to bite through a muzzle.
In this darkness their is no one to call,
cause in this darkness all is at their down fall.
How can the world be saved
ask the son that JESUS gave..............

Lost

Lost in a world so cold. Hungry for food. Lips as dry as clay. Surviving day by day.

Lost in a world with no hope. Finding it hard to cope. Hair as greasy as oil. Nails filled deep
with mud. Every where I look I see blood.

Lost in a world alone. No place to call 'my home'. No mother to love me or feed me. No
sister to play. No father to console me. Alone day by day.

Lost in a world so cold. All I have is hope.

(For the children of war)

Weep For the World

Weep for the world people
As we sit back and watch it die
Do nothing and ignore her
Pretend you can't hear her cry

Weep for the world mothers
As she claims your children
One by one she takes them
And leaves you in ruins

Weep for the world fathers
As your sons head off for war
They come back in body bags
Never knowing the freedom they fought for

Weep for the world sisters
When your brothers don't come home
Shot down in the streets
Where in the night they choose to rome

Weep for the world brothers
As your sisters get abused
Never knowing their worth
They stay to be used

Weep for the world Familys
Look at what we have done
You can look away from it
But from the world you can't run
