Extinguish and Emblaze

We do not despise
What God gave us
We do not dislike
Our countless flaws
We whom wonder hastily
Clinching to life after life
Hanging on with no purposes
Just the desired selfishness
To be alive
Claiming to be depressed
Claiming to be out ruled
Outlived
But who is it to blame
When one tries continually and repeatedly
And the thing one desires
Is not to be set in claim?
To live is to be alive
Cling to life
Outspread life
And contaminate life
But when one has the false desire
To terminate life
One has gotten the opposite meaning of living
And other ones must help this one
Give him a better understanding
A better view
A brighter view of life
Or perhaps how foolish one could be to end such grace
How illogic and insane
Or perhaps ungrateful
One could be to the creator
To God
To Allah
To live fully
Is to truly extinguish
The bleak fire of one’s destruction
And to emblazon the torch of existing gratitude

Magickal Gates

TIMES OF YESTERDAY FEEL LOST
HIDDEN BEHIND A CULTURE THAT IS INTRIGUED BY WHAT IS NEW!
TO BUSY TO TAKE THE TIME TO REMEMBER THE TIMES THAT WERE TRUE!
THE LIGHT, THE DARK, THE STARS, & THE TRUTH OF ALL THAT IS REAL
TO WHAT WE SEE AND THE MAGICK TO BE REVEALED!

THERE IS ONLY A HANDFUL OF THE ONES OF TODAY
REMEMBERING THE LIFE OF YESTERDAY & LANGUAGES OF THE GODS & GODDESSES
TO WHAT IS TRUTH & LISTENING TO WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY!
KNOWING THE TRUE MEANING OF MAGICK IS IN US EACH IN EVERY WAY!

THE GLORY OF THE PAST LIFE
WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!
BUT BRINGING HONESTY, LOVE, & LOYALTY TO TRUTH THAT IT WAS
FOR ALL TO REMEMBER THE REASON WITHOUT CAUSE

WE SIT & WE LISTEN TO THE REMEMBERANCE OF THE PAST
REMINDING US ALWAYS OF THE LOVE & TRUTH THAT IS MEANT TO LAST.
BUT THE DAYS CONTINUE TO LINGER UNTIL THAT MAGIKAL TIME.
WHEN SPELLS, FAIRIES, ELVES & ALL MAGICKAL CREATURES WOULD LIVE IN THEIR OWN
RHYME.

BUT FOR NOW WE MUST WAIT
FOR THE WALL THAT HIDES THE WORLD OF THE MAGICAL GATE!

Growing Up To Be Little

the stage is set
for a magic trick of a life time
renewal and rebirth
the act of growing up to be little

the past life forgotten
lessons learned carried forward

a whirlwind of glitter
inside a solar powered box
turning the many wheels
of the generator

getting old enough to forget
the child you once were
and are about to be again
eternal

sometimes everything changes
when you see your mother

God's Fisherman

If you see him, you would just see a simple man
At home anywhere, just glad to be in your company
He'll listen to you and encourage you to stand
For what you believe and help you silence your enemies.

He'll never lie to you, for his pursuit is peace
His words will inspire you, yet will also sharpen you
He knows the heart of His Father who tirelessly seeks
The return of His children that you will come to feel too.

If you follow him, your life will see the light
Of a brand new dawn, but the path may enter rough terrains
For the way to heaven is a high mountain climb
Many will mock you and call you fool to discard your faith.

As you walk the way, know he walked ahead of you
Has shed the tears of the Father, carrying His burden
Without complain to make the way lighter for you
He lives his life for your sake that God's love is ascertained.

Not a Turn On

Nothing you said to me best night
Outlasts the love of the Father
Temporary pleasures leads to a life of disaster.

A thing that I want to be part of my past.

This day I choose to move on. I have
Unshakable faith that I will
Remain strong. Yes, indeed I will. I have a
New way of thinking and no separations from the real love,

Of God. I feel really sorry for you. You’re
Neglecting the life that God gave the one that’s true.

Queen of Exile

I wish that I could write
But all that I have left is this light
Because the learned scholars all say
That beauty never came that way
They will never understand
What they cannot hold in their hand
To them it is nothing but a waste
What they cannot see or taste
A substitute to life is what is being sought
But what I have found here cannot be taught
To analyze and scrutinize is to look at life apart
Just gaze into her beauty; it is a work of art
To peer so close at slides
Through microscopic eyes
And seek to find her there
In a single lock of her hair
Is a great search in vain
When she hides within rain
But they will never see
Their blind eyes are not free
Far too few have seen
The beauty of the exiled queen
She can be hard to find
So most don't waste their time
I wish there were a way
That I could make her stay
But that is where her beauty lies
She is held down by no ties
All her life I sum in this
To take a gentle kiss
to find her in my eyes
To breathe her gentle sigh
to meet her in the sun
To find her one by one
To smell her in the air
This beauty is so fair

Read It and Heed It

read it and heed it this is my warning
take what you want but reap what you sow
is eternity worth the price
for what you think you may know

you've given up on your life, your dreams
you're left here standing hollowed
where the strong have lead
the weak have surely followed

this body is your vessal
this life is your open sea
your hate and contempt shall leave you shackled
forgiveness, this is truth, shall set you free

this is my warning i heed unto thee
you came into this life with good intent
yet the life you lead is far more tainted
to free thy soul thine must repent

love your family for we are all but one
do unto others as ye be done
try to be happy...
life is meant to be fun.

Answering Questions

Would you like to touch the stars?
Kiss the Moon or maybe Mars,
Run across a curvy rainbow,
To a place of ice and snow?

Could you smile the cold away
And leave me here with nothing to say,
Take my blood tears into your arms,
Paint my life with cinnamon charms?

Is it possible to smile forever,
See the World in pink and never
Be too far away from you,
Without which life has no clue?

Can a thought become a destiny
In the great emotional vastity,
When you feel like you're insane
With nothing to lose or gain?

Do our souls really dance on a string,
Or shine into oblivion, like a diamond ring?
When no one is here to ease the pain,
We've got eachother and that's not in vain.

Lines To a Beloved Poet

(for Wole Soyinka)

My brother with the Iroko-beard
With thickly forested head
What is your life? what is this life to you?

From your ever-drumming hands
Whose blood, whose life is poetry
I notice the silent reply
In unison with other renowned kins

That when the verse fades from lips
To herald from your pen the eclipse
Of the irretrievable silver
Then you are turned into an ancestor.

Brother my jungle breathes and lives
Solely on the verse as on waters
Let verses be more for poetry is life itself!

The Reality Hiding Inside of a Needle

One little shot
A mere pinch in a throbbing vein
Liquid injected by a shaking hand
The reality of life falls away
The sky turns a deep crimson
As birds fly toward a leafless tree
Branches covered with newly born dragons
Breathing fire and inhaling toxic smoke
The watch their surroundings
Looking for a single flower
Where butterflies mate in unending rhythm
Giving birth to newly hatched rainbows
Red, violet, blue, green and yellow
All fading into blacks and grays
As the rise to take their place in the sky
White fluffy clouds wrap around the arches
Like tendrils of a parasitic vine
Strangling the life from the lifeless prisms
Dissolving their shades into an invisible spectrum
Their darkness falls eclipsing the nearest star
Open eyes strain in the dimming light
They are looking for a floating eagle
Golden wings rising on heated air
It flies around the sky
Leaving a trail of blue skies and morning light
It is the one creature who knows reality
What true reality should be like
At least until the next little shot
The pinch in another throbbing vein
Takes in all away again

Hear My Voice

Hear my voice,
Imploring you for a better life condition.
Can’t you see my life is purposeless?

Hear my voice,
Begging for help to pursue my education
Can’t you see my dream is vanishing away?

Hear my voice,
Screaming for the reflection of happiness
Can’t you see that my goal is unreachable?

To be in love is to be not heartless,
To show compassion is to hear my weary voice
Lamenting for dire relief and assistance to heal my soul.

The Departure

The rustling ballets of seasons
Projected in your timely reason

So gentle the sounds expel from your flute
Standing up to salute

The chimes of diamonds in the wind
Bittersweet changes in nature’s binds

Autumn’s falling glory
Swept away the color of life so blurry

In the rushing of a breeze
Setting in for a winter’s tease

Rest now and lie dormant
Once a gust of life from a whispering informant

Soon your bare arms will feel the strain
Ice will cover you like rain

Night falls with an eerie depth
Eyes cold, and the singing wept

Sailing in winter’s powers
Empty days, with gaunt hours

Ode To the Sun

Sunrise, Oh aural hymn of spirituality,
Vibrant in it’s splendour and magnificence,
Sending nocturnes to daytime slumber,
Bathing life to a yawning earth.

Piercing the day’s birth with colours and hue,
The Master’s tableau, a glorious canvas,
Fiery paints, swirling strokes and defiant beauty
The bright facet of the world’s axial turn.

It evokes and invokes, feelings and awe.
Praises and raises, creation and spirits,
Vilifies and nullifies, sadness and hopelessness,
Resigns and consigns, acceptance and trepidation.

Strand by strand, it runs through the hair,
Pore to pore, it caresses the skin,
Squint by squint, it opens the eyes,
Every brightness warms a weary heart.

It bridges valleys and flattens peaks,
Resurrects death and ends horizons,
Humbles the great and strengthens the weak,
With its rays, its light, its kiss.

We are but an audience, paler and drabber,
Casting pathetic lines of self importance,
Feeble in our attempts and underneath its shadow,
For its languid phase is our mortal eternity.

When we are dust, entwined to life in death,
Ethereal and eternal and constant the sun remains.
Bathing life to a yawning earth.

The Watcher

Alone I sit in silence
I contemplate life in all its violence
As I gather my cloak of shadows
In quiet contemplation of my reservations
On human kindness

Alone I sit in darkness
Surrounded by a bleakness
I consider life and its weakness
Is it worth my attention will I find redemption?
In the human heart?

Alone I sit in the cold
And I am totally enthralled
By the wrongs humanity inflicts
On each other, thine own brother and thy lover
All for your own gain

Alone I sit in this void
And I conclude humanity is devoid
Of the very things it claims are free
No love, no kindness and no loyalty
So I move on
