God's Fisherman

If you see him, you would just see a simple man
At home anywhere, just glad to be in your company
He'll listen to you and encourage you to stand
For what you believe and help you silence your enemies.

He'll never lie to you, for his pursuit is peace
His words will inspire you, yet will also sharpen you
He knows the heart of His Father who tirelessly seeks
The return of His children that you will come to feel too.

If you follow him, your life will see the light
Of a brand new dawn, but the path may enter rough terrains
For the way to heaven is a high mountain climb
Many will mock you and call you fool to discard your faith.

As you walk the way, know he walked ahead of you
Has shed the tears of the Father, carrying His burden
Without complain to make the way lighter for you
He lives his life for your sake that God's love is ascertained.

I really like this poem, this line "Many will mock you and call you fool to discard your faith." is phenominal, we are forever loved, more than we could possibly imagine, and we chose to forget! some of us remember slowly slowly, others are too scared of the unknown and being 'wrong'. not that 'wrong' exists! :) Thank you for your kind words, I enjoy your words too. Cast your nets wide. much love and respect. Lance
