The Porcelain In the Snow

Through the blinding haze of the blizzard,
It was the only visual for eyes afar.
A gleam from it rose to the sky,
Making the view as ethereal and high.

A blink then again one more
Built its glory to reach evermore.
Moors have been swept in search,
Lands turned into white dust.

A pale glimmer arose so glazed
Marking the spot where it stood unfazed.
A flutter in the wind brought some light
In came the view of the porcelain white.

A single white rose
Stood in the storm so majestic.
Could nature be more supercalifragilistic?

Premium Member I JUST WANT TO BE UNDER THE SAME CLOUD YOU IN-

I want to be under the same clouds you're in.
I want to get wet in the rain,
 with you. I wanna see your view, as you do
I wanna embrace the hemisphere? Embrace the torso of a big, powerful Father.God, I'm in awe with you.Just wanna be covered in you

I want to be under the same cloud as you

I want to be in the same space as you
I want to have the same amazing grace.
I want to, envision, the faith we choose
I just want to be together in you

I want to kiss your heart? I want to hold your thoughts. I want to embrace I long to be near it. I want to rest in your arms, give you all my charm. I long to be endearing. Just need to be near you

I just want to be under the same cloud as you

Oh I, oh I just want to be in under the same clouds you're in
I want to stand on the same grounds.Touch barefooted, the grass you're on share energy.I just want to be inside with you.Share the same eyes you do
I want to be under the same clouds as you

“The Self is the negation of the distinction between day and night. The Self is the negation of the risen and not-risen. If there is only one indivisible, all-comprehensive Absolute, how can there be the sun, the moon, and fire?”

The sense of separation from existence,
is in simple words, a state of delusion,
cause being ego, which offers resistance,
with truth revealed upon head and heart fusion.
All is one, as affirmed again and again,
self-evident when our heart is free from stain,
when we view as a dream, all that’s manifest,
in the midst of movement, remaining at rest.

"A friend is God's way of making
sure we never walk alone."

                              Christmas Ornament message

Early each morning we gather for a long winter walk,
the birds still murmur dulcet in trees and falling snowflakes whisper;
but, we are warmly dressed, walking and chatting together.

The streets are hushed waiting, tranquil quiescent, and peaceful,
labyrinths serendipitous with lighted houses that sigh joy;
as the deep solitude and images wash over us.

We come to a park where trees are ice draped and shimmering,
the scene sparkles and twinkles, the ground like a pristine white carpet;
we walk in awe of God's phantasmal winter creation.

Our conversation is so joyfully comfortable,
we float from one subject to another with interest and warmth;
time forgotten our feet lead us on a journey unknown.

After three hours we close the walk with coffee close to home,
outside a tree with stained glass leaves is our view as we sip café;
God has left us a bit of autumn beauty to behold.

Premium Member Hi Daddy

I see the number 158, and I smile
it was the store number of my favorite manager
Once upon a time I was the bookkeeper for ten Super Valu Stores
He was my favorite, because I used to work for him when I was sixteen.
He is gone now, but when I see the number, I think of him and smile.
He died really young, at forty-two, which I thought was old then.

A pink cardinal flies down into my car’s view as I drive up my hill.
It’s a cheery hello from my mother. She had a tablecloth with pink cardinals.
I would have loved to have had it, but my sister took it right off.
My sister had taken care of my mother in the end, so I said nothing.
Glad one of us got it.

The dogs are barking at the woods when I stop the car.
For one second, I see my daddy.
He is usually seen in a blip out the corner of an eye.
He has supposedly been gone for thirteen years.
When I put my coat into my closet I reach for Daddy's’ plaid jacket.
It still smells like him.
I say “Hi, Daddy.”
I feel him here.

Premium Member Perception

Not everyone sees things the same
Peering out of different sets of eyes
What one depicts as truth and facts
Another will view as deceit and lies

Remember perception is not reality
And reality is not what you perceive
Reality lies somewhere in the middle
Between what we detect and believe

Is the left eyes sight as the right eyes
Or do they compromise then agree
Do the eyes come to a conclusion
Before the brains told what's to see

Who's to say Who's wrong or right
To us this world is still a mystery
The truth we may never know
Or is the truth there for us to see

Premium Member Ways of Providence

The young are prone to blithely say, “Time’s on my side,”
but youth’s no promise one will long on Earth abide.

“He died too soon,” we say beside a young one’s grave
and ponder why God opted not his life to save.

Those who have not achieved all they desire in life
sometimes blame others~~even God~~for pain and strife.

Let’s flip the coin. Are we convinced that we deserve
all blessings we receive? Do we have that much nerve?

God’s ways are not our ways; we cannot think like Him,*
but we must trust he doesn’t merely act on whim.
          (*Isaiah 55:8)

His Word assures He loves us; this, we must believe
and have deep faith He’ll comfort us each time we grieve.

When we depart this shell of clay, we’ll clearly see
what we now view as through a glass dark as can be.”
       (I Corin. 13:2, the Apostle Paul)

holding onto last traces of ego
we retain the form sconce that holds the flame
the light of Self we intimately know
dwelling here, love enablement its aim
whereafter our soul’s no longer the same
with this goal in view, as bliss beats renew
we are on earth, a spirit passing through

Premium Member Eternal Self

As the Self we have no limitation,
enjoying full freedom, feeling complete,
living light in all time celebration,
spontaneity inking every tweet,
in endless renewal, as God’s heartbeat.
Eternal awareness yet seeks God’s love,
rainbow in full view, as in sky above.

Premium Member All life is memory

I rose up from my bed today.
I’ve seen a thousand moons.
A vision filled my mind and heart,
like thousands of balloons.

The rubber globes are memories,
each holding precious dreams.
Some make me smile. Some make me frown
The view as bright sunbeams.

I feel a chill while dreaming there.
All life is memory.
Since living lo these many years,
this vision, now I see.

I cannot change my dreams or times.
They float eternally.
I only know, I learned today.
All life is memory.

The air within my lungs just now
is all the gift I own.
My life will change when I exhale.
This moment will have flown.

While contemplating all I am.
One visual I see.
I cannot change a single thing.
All life is memory.

Painting on the easel,
The things we do apparently aren’t right.
The taste of bitter sweetness and the smell of diesel,
They say my last name sounds mediaeval,
Well,
Alright.

I see the world through the goggles of a pessimist,
We might be feeble.
The winds whirled and caught my kite,
Release my grip and forgo retrieval.
What’s mine isn’t mine by right,
It’s just how we see it through,
I’m talking about life.
About my life,
The pain we’re free to view as truly painful.
Poetry and that feeling to write,
Writing truly shouldn’t feel this shameful.
A dutiful soldier who finds poetry too graceful,
A stoic paladin whose words ride alongside my brother,
The Sky.
An angelic family tie.

My brothers laugh travels on by,
A Paladin’s poetry needn’t make you cry.

Premium Member waking through lower realms

the truth is inconvenient
as also unapologetic
but when voiced
is resisted

conflict looms
not of our making
we view as unfortunate
the decline of righteousness

although outcomes matter not
we stand for what is honest
nonchalantly observing
deviousness at play

it is not for us
to educate the other
but we would lessen ourself
if we cowardly look the other way

Premium Member Dopamine denied

morning coffee delayed by an hour
we view as fortunate this earth life test
it lets us check if our mood has gone sour
such are adversities we overcome in light jest

Premium Member Rainbow body

Our rainbow body, in heart is concealed,
covered by layers of fear, hate and lust
but when we’re by love healed, truth is revealed,
here and now within this form made of dust,
whence we walk mindfully, upon earth’s crust.
Befriending silence, dwelling in the void,
delusion of lower mind is destroyed,
paving way for our form to be transformed,
revealing soul’s light, pure and unalloyed;
rainbow in full view, as scriptures informed.

                            ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We twirled amidst the falling rain,
Flowing locks, dripping with freedom.
A gentle touch, our hands entwined,
As we traversed the highways of our lives,
it vanished from view as our eyes met
smiled and gently kissed our worries away.
leaving our reflections
                                        behind
Listen to the rain's gentle song tonight
Feel the tears, they're mine,
Whispering gently on your rooftop.
unrestrained.
