Premium Member A Triad of Tanka VI: Autumn Failing

A cracked, lone brown leaf

Spiralling quickly downwards

Knows only the ground;

But in that motion exalts

As if a plunging falcon.
-------------------------------------

Fallen, wind-blown leaves

Huddling against grey kerbstones

In abject neglect.

Already parks quieter...

Their iron railings more stark.
-------------------------------------

The thick sap retreats

When gnarled bark tightens its grip

On inner heartwood;

Summer faded into nights...

Autumn, failing, covered all.

The Earth Is Just One Prison

At first we hid in our human shells,
Frail lanterns flickering in the dark,
A few still slipped through unseen doors,
Wings beating toward a brighter mark.

But soon the skies were sealed with stone,
The stars withdrew their silver keys,
We found ourselves confined to earth,
Like birds in branches without leaves.

Mars once bloomed with rivers clear,
Venus sang in a golden air,
Yet both were broken, hushed by fire,
By hands too old, too proud to care.

So here we dwell on soil and sea,
Prisoners bound by time’s command,
Dreaming of worlds that slipped away,
Ruins buried beneath the sand.

Yet still the blossoms burn with light,
And rain restores the weary ground,
The wind is free though we are not,
It lifts our hearts with airy sound.

For though the stars are far above,
And chains of history bind us fast,
The earth is more than bars and walls—
It offers beauty that can last.

If we must stay, then let us sing,
And love the hour before it dies,
For even prisons hold their grace,
And earth still mirrors paradise.

Flower Chide VI, Stemrise

Toward Scent fold’s vale they cleaved the green,
Where wind runs thick with things unseen.
“Is it justice you seek or just her place?”
Lotus said, his voice low, draped in grace.
The blossoms paused, their vows unsealed,
Each plucked petal quaking in truth revealed.
For in his oblique gaze, the mirror lay.
Become the wound or forge the way.

The wound was raw and the way unknown
And from that break, a voice was thrown
"Let's all go to Netherbloom and trace,
a flare to rise and claim our place".

Azure was still, but knew the storm would rise.
So, he nurtured the mosses and lichens wise.

Netherbloom was far and path was fire
still, they trudged through thorn and mire.
They reached the brink where wild roots twine,
A voice uncoiled from the Caelith's shine
“You crossed the flame; you bore the haunt
Now speak your vow, what is it you want?"

“We want equality,” they said, “in beauty.”
"Not bowed by rank but crowned in mutiny.”
said Lily with her grief filled voice.
“Let beauty be truth, not any mortal's choice.”
spoke waning Tulip, holding her poise.

How to make love to a didgeridoo VI

Antiquated pipeline geysers ravage starry nebulae, blast ash. The hurricane bankrupts reed origami masts. It splits overripe pomegranates. Wild animal guitar buzzes, echoing through shattered valleys.

Electrified abdomen dowels bobble and quiver. Balloons, gemstones, hot coals ululate. Feral cello cherries frost and educate potholes. They mold cracked roads into jagged mosaics of fire and ice.

Fractured aqueduct sprays liquid yogurt galaxies across the void. The tempest collapses bamboo paper cranes. It bursts ripe garnet figs. Savage harp lion roars. Untamed lyre berries chant anthems.

           Today's man

No prior POTUS has admired
Towered pyres for esquires they’d hired
Tired not by work hard
Now wired the trump card
That commands retire or You're Fired!

Unspoken Affections: Part-VI

ooking into your seraph eyes
Ferris wheel had put us high
Being lifted up in the air
But with you it felt safe and divine
lights from the ground reaching the sky
we had the world below our feet’s
with no one to tell who to love
we held each other close before the fall

mesmerized by the look in your eyes
i wanted to whisper a secret
exhilaration hit us soft and sweet
so the fall felt so haunting and divine
put desertion away in that moment
the moment of beauty in your charm
we both screamed at top of our lungs
and shared our secrets before the rise

Unspoken Affections: Part-VI

staring into your eyes but 10 seconds  seemed bit harder
hot flush from your stare and I felt my cheeks grew warmer
your face slacking happiness and heart covered in dark gray
i wanted to whisper you ‘my love’ and tell you i’m here for you
putting your faith in me, you uttered your agonizing  account
if i tell you ‘I love you’, would you let me share your pain?

 Fervent rainbows vow to deck
 a gloomy, woeful moon
with merriness and blissfulness.
 Whispered dreams of virtue
triumph over a murky ,
desultory brook.
The serene , meandrous
butterfly is rocked by
an ephemeral , passing
chimera.
 An angelic ,tranquilized petal
 resides in the realm of
melodious ,
gracefulness.
Whispers of lovely rose
dwell in a tempestuous,
ardent sea.
The symphonic melody
of an unchanging
stork's felicity
overshadows the unflagging
hawk's power.
Delightful sunbeams echo
the unafraid, doughty breath
 of a sedate chrysanthemum.
                            .

NIGHTERRORS VI beyond the veils of sleep

A mask
Cracked but standing
Not fallen
Yet hollow
Eyes etched into the ruins
Trapped between what remains
And what has been lost

Thoughts through the rift,
A mouth, open yet voiceless
Whispers out of place
Where the winds speak no name
And stone withers memory

Interwoven
Thorns crawl heavenward
Meek n determined
Reaching to spires, un-obtained
Faded into ash

Once a kingdom
It, without words
spire now shadow
Piercing what remains
Purpose forgotten
weight of eternity
Something misbegotten
Into fractured skin

Behind the mask, eyes stare
Fighting the stains
darkness lingers
Eyes, hollow they are,
Beyond the ruin keep
Beyond the walls of time
Beyond the veils of sleep

Don't Forget What They've Taken From You - VI

VI.
It used to be that a child
was called a precious gift,
so many of them used to die
we were joyful if they lived.
To kill such a defenseless soul
was barbaric and cruel,
but oh, how Satan did return,
and play us all for fools.
Now sixty million have been killed
before breaching the womb,
we murdered for the convenience,
sent innocents to doom.
Unique, one-of-a-kind people,
snuffed out like they were trash,
we hide behind euphemism…
we will answer for that.
How many siblings won’t you know,
and friends will you not have,
how many spouses won’t you meet,
or children young and glad?
How many books won’t be written,
and movies won’t be shot,
how much culture would we cherish
that now we have not got?
How many inventions were lost
within that murdered mind?
How many great things have vanished
due to this blooding crime?
For every five that you see now,
one more soul should exist,
you want to talk about heinous,
Hitler didn’t kill like this!
For our own selfish convenience
we butcher our own youth,
see the evil and don’t forest
who was taken from you.
