Premium MemberMr Bojangles-Piano Man

Piano man was what he said he was called.
Percussion he didn’t need to keep us enthralled.
Pianoforte, this was his instrument of choice.
Pacifying and entertaining with his velvet voice.

Piano man hit heights.
Please play those black and whites.
Pick a tune with pazazz.
Play that great old time Jazz.

Phrase those songs to tap our feet.
Pure honkey tonk, most complete.
Put old time feelings, sweet.
Perfection, feel the beat.

Play those ivory keys.
Plant new notes with such ease.
Piano man, don’t stop.
Please don’t play that hip hop.

Play us a jazzy tune.
Pleasure that we can croon.
Praising life, an all its ways.
Pitch is off, piano has seen better days.

Pure music-its still there.
Pretty sweet melodies fill the air.
Piano man, play any song you please.
Played as he laughed and tickled the keys.

Premium MemberHOMELESS

Reflecting...at the end of December 2009 I was homeless. However, in March of 2010 God intervened and provided me a safe roof over my head where I have resided for almost 15 years! He is a good and faithful God, who has never left me alone and I will never cease to give Him Glory, amen.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

H earing God above the chant of scoffers and being

O pen to manisfestations of true joy...I find that His

M ercy and grace 'neon lights'...negate the obvious

E xpected feelings of 'self pity'...thus this revelation

L eaves me with the 'treasure' of a renewed...deep

E stablished trust...that is profoundly and adamantly

S ubstantiated with increased love for a dependable

S ure Savior and a belief in the 'impossible' for 2010

Premium MemberTropical Island

Tears behind the cocktails,
Rowing down to calmness
Oasis was found,
Pure life's gratitude
I found after my mistake.
Confident I feel while I'm breathing loneliness.
Awake with open eyes
Lonely in a tropical island.

Isolated in the middle of the world, I wonder. I wander.
Sun shines above me with compassion, but I'm struggling.
Lucky that I saw a boat I could call its attention.
Amazing I found the gate from beauty to engage reality.
Nice to wake up in spite of having a
Delightful dream, or a nightmare, sweating in bed.

Another Eighties Music Revival

The sudden eighties music craze
had gone beyond the norm
the local supermarket
was swept along by the storm
as more and more of the shoppers
joined in with the revival
filling up on nostalgia
from t-shirts to CDs and vinyl

Reaping the customer whirlwind
for Boy George and Eurythmics tracks
some smart Alec from head office
said “This is no time to Relax!”
the mullet headed store manager
he looked a manic Midge Ure
a sarcastic lad on the tannoy
said “Sorry, but we’ve got no Cure”

Over at customer services
I said a mistake’s being made
“The seventies had John Lennon
Bob Marley, T. Rex, Slade!”
the guy claimed to be sympathetic
towards my point of view
then asked me to go on a website
and give him a Five Star review

A wise woman sat at the checkout
smiled to me as she said
“When this fad blows over
they’ll still want milk and bread”
so the moral to this story
is one of wisdom not sadness
that everyone’s entitled to
their little bit of Madness.

Premium MemberStellar Defiance

U drag everything into a black hole and take.

I break and clear space rocks in my wake.

We are not =, I am extraterrestrial!

Ure contacting a being who’s perennial.

Look at my spaceship! I’m out of your world.

An alien impervious to the earthly stones u hurl.

Inhale my space dust and aspire to reach me.

U’ll crack under the atmospheric pressure and flee.

I reflect on my earthly composition and fondly smile.

Now I help others thrive on intergalactic alchemy in style.

Premium MemberUre Apprehensively Mine

Ure my chemical imbalance tipping the scales
Ure the voice shouting leaving me pale
Ure the fright in the middle of a soulless night
Ure broken glass on the sidewalk
Ure cuts thru my shoes while u mock
Ure poetry in motion with nausea
Ure incurable when I wanna be done dotta
Ure an audio clip on a permanent loop
Ure the scandal rag with a crappy scoop
Ure rinse and repeat without a cleanse
Ure finite resources thru a single lens
Ure the reason for recurring work in progress
Ure my daily dose of fogginess
Ure the vacuum of perpetual thoughts
Ure the story who cannot be bought
Ure the constant double edge sword
Ure responsible for striking a chord
Ure the force I try so hard to counter with good
Ure responsible for me being misunderstood
Ure my nemesis and friend all the same
Ure the one enabling me to be creatively insane

No pills, no frills, just terrifying numbness followed by troubling relaxations
A pattern of chills trying not to succumb to this rollercoaster of varying sensations

Premium MemberFelines

From wild to domestic, these fine creatures of our world
Exhibit such great attributes, I cannot help but
Love them all, especially a fluffy one curled
Irresistibly up in my lap and purring! I can’t get enough of that.
Nice but naughty, these special pets can be
Entertaining and so cute. A small, sweet cat
Sure means the world to me!

Aspirations flood
Periods bloom like flowers
Raining poetry…

Seductive Spell

As my hand starts to touch, your body does wake.
But look in my eyes, what I want I can take.
As I rake, my nails down ure leg, hot like a fire.
You see I am the source of your love and desire.
I require you to follow my every single command.
And it isnt a request, listen to my demand.
You will stand at attention, even when laying down
I am your queen and I deserve a crown.

I'm back in the saddle again
my Prostate now my best friend
brother Bladder, cousin Ure
we complete every journey
not stopping to pee 'til the end.

I'm back in the saddle again
my Prostate now my best friend
we drive many miles
smiling big smiles
not stopping to pee 'til the end
