As I focus on the task at hand
Go through these trials and tribulations to help me
understand
The purpose that I serve in life is something much
more
Then just looking at this life as just an open door
Knowing that what I've been through was not in vain
Taking the good with the bad accepting all pain
Using every consequence as a stepping stone
Put my faith in god cause man will steer you
wrong
So I follow no one do my own thang
Ask no one for not a thang and get my own
change
Forever asking god to help me see my destiny
Help me move closer to the spot u feel I need to
be
And give me peace in these trying times
But it seems like everytime I get a piece
They want a piece of mine
So in my mind I'm thinking of ways 2 keep my
mind at ease
Focus on getting mo paper cause being broke ain't
4 me
It ain't in my pedigree no way no how
Don't get my hopes up for nothing
Cause when I do then I get let down
So I take it all for what it's worth
A small thing to a giant as I roam this earth
Chanting of hymns
filling this sweet evening air
chanting of hymns
takes me nearer to God it seems
I pray to God with my heart bare
relishing each moment so rare
chanting of hymns.
Wick lamps floating
on the sacred Ganges river
wick lamps floating
with wishes of people praying
in evening breeze flames quiver
and chanting of hymns filling air
wick lamps floating.

Life lessons learned through experience
In an undesired fashion
Learning to give up worldly ways
To obtain a Godly passion
My hearts desire was fulfilled
For only a short amount of time
Only after did I notice not all is good
And worldly gain loses its prime
My soul cries out for comfort
Down my face tears graze
All along I should've searched for the One
By Trusting, Worshiping, and Praise
My heart should be so full of joy
And passion for my Savior
That when a man comes into my life
I know it's God doing me a favor
I pray for strength daily
Strength to know my worth and judge not
For the only way to true happiness
Is to seek what Jesus sought
So I ask for God to motivate me
To teach me patience, understand my thoughts
With time I'll know to appreciate unanswered prayers
Instead of examining the 'it oughts"
As destruction nears
Oh how my life fears
No were to run
Darkness take away the fun
With a glemor of hope
Many would just say nope
Believe in the God of all
The God thou shoo never fall
Bringing forever light
Oh how it shines so bright
His son died on the cross
Gave us all his love
As this poem is not fully complete
We all shall know the God that doesn't compete
The one and only
How thou are so holy
We just got the news today
she will soon be going away
the doctors done all that they can do
but it's not over for her
she's just going home
she's faught her fight
Her battles now are through
another saints gone home Hallelujah
another child of God reaches Her heavenly home
another saints gone home Hallelujah
Praise the Lord
for now at last her victory is won
When the time has come for me to go away
I want my friends and family to see
that its not time to mourn
but to celebrate
this life I've lived
I pray they all may sing
another saints gone on hallelujah
another child of God reaches the Heavenly gates
another saints gone home hallelujah
Praise the Lord
Some day we'll see her in the heavely home.

inspiration to me..
People emigrated from many shores
To a New World that had no closed doors
American culture’s diversity
Thank God we live in the land of the free
Asians, Africans, Europeans too
Many nationalities did accrue
Leaving behind countries with tyranny
Thank God we live in the land of the free
Troubles erupted among many clans
And yet now in peace we stand holding hands
A rainbow of blessings, God’s artistry
Thank God we live in the land of the free
This blend adds richness to the melting pot
Thankful for all the liberty we’ve got
Each has a place in our society
Thank God we live in the land of the free
Discrimination sinks into the past
Knowing that our strong bonds are sure to last
America says, “Welcome” to you and me
God’s blessings found in the land of the free

With broken heart and all alone, she cried.
“I love you.” were his words, but he lied.
A sweet young girl now lost in deep despairs.
No! Teenage pregnancy; God knows and cares.
She always was her daddy's little girl.
His precious child to womanhood was hurled.
A father's love surpasses anger's flares.
No! Teenage pregnancy; God knows and cares.
She went to church to learn the right and wrong.
A choir angel singing heaven's song –
Brothers, sisters solemnly sit and stare.
No! Teenage pregnancy; God knows and cares.
Her rounded body feels the life within.
Motherhood lives near to her chagrin.
Her mother held her close; the tears were theirs.
No! Teenage pregnancy; God knows and cares.
“Sure, she's nice,” he said, but we are so young.
Fatherhood was not for him; his song was sung.
“She should have been more careful,” he declares.
No! Teenage pregnancy; God knows and cares.

I pray that you will find yourself.
I pray you reach out to God for help.
I pray that you will search your heart,
Choose to live right, and do what's smart.
I pray each day that you are safe.
I pray that you will learn from your mistakes.
I pray that you still know you're loved
Not only by me, but by the Lord above.
I pray that God will ease your pain
And that He shelters you from the pouring rain.
I pray that you will find your way
And that angels surround you every day.
I pray that you can see God's Light
When you're all alone in your darkest night.
I pray that I will see you again someday,
And if it happens I can find the words to say
That you are loved by God. You are loved by me.
Just have some faith. Please believe
That everything is going to be alright.
I pray that you stay strong and fight.
I pray you find happiness in all you do.
This is my daily prayer for you.
From a virgins womb you were born
On that beautiful Christmas morn
Men came from places all around
And placed many gifts on the ground
At a young age you were teaching
The word of God you were preaching
You were baptized and God sent a dove
And for you he declared his love
You fasted forty nights, days
When tempted you followed Gods ways
You turned the water into wine
Healed those who were deaf and blind
You cast out demands in Gods name
Made to walk the ones who were lame
You brought the dead back to life again
With your hand calmed the wind and rain
You were whipped and beaten for our sin
Because of you sin is forgiven
You forgave he who betrayed you
And said we should forgive too
When you gave your spirit up to death
And took your very last breath
A great earthquake shook the ground there
The temple veil in two did tear
Three days later you rose again
And ascended into heaven
You came to earth knowing your fate
Shed your blood to open heavens gate
Not for the righteous, but the lost
You were hung on that wooden cross
YES YESTERDAY YELLS
Ah, but that was yesterday
Today God surveyed the universe as it is
And always was
and shall always be
seeking beauty beholden to no one the Lord hath created creatively
It was most shapely in form
Far from the norm
Rich in royalty and countenance divine
And now I see the universe as a vintage cask of wine
A world where worry do we not my dear
A land of luxury where the sky is always clear my dear
No clouds to blur the beauty of the one that God had chosen well
No hurt, no pain, no misery from when i fell
Children are free to be children and have no need for a locating device
And for peace there is never any price
Everything is everyone’s to share
To care
To bare the weight should it find the shoulders of a soldier
And it matters not as we are ordered to slowly become older
God’s hand came down and chose the one with beauty beyond one’s due
God’s hand came down and picked an angel to be you

I see the hurt and the pain you feel inside.
Your eyes are opening as each day passes by!
The thing about God is that He makes no mistakes.
You must take care of yourself, do everything it takes!!
You are a child of God and He loves you so much.
Sometimes the roads are rocky, and they tend to be tough!
The Lord is here to guide you through.
You're one of my angels, and I love you too.
So when things seem to be more than you can bare,
Lift up your voice and raise your hands in the air!!!
Give it All to the Man up above.
When it all boils down, He's our Real True Love!!!!!
You're sitting up and worrying about all the wrong things.
Sit back, listen, and see what I mean.
You're caring about someone who doesn't care about you.
Give it up, turn it loose, and be yourself Boo!
The fact of the matter, is to each his own.
Don't try to be "The Man", and pretend to be grown.
You're stressing for reasons that seem to be unknown.
For the fact of the matter is that if you weren't wanted, you'd be gone!!!
We're not going to hold our tongue, just to soothe your soul.
Get yourself together in order to reach that goal.
The Lord says, "Seek and ye shall find",
Worrying with the wrong things will make you lose your mind!!
Your graduating from school is a blessing indeed,
Sit down, soul search, and find out what you need.
The pot always seems to call the kettle black,
Open your eyes, give it to God, and see where you're at.
He says, "Don't worry about tomorrow for it will take care of itself".
Trust me my love, no-one but God and you can help yourself!!
Give it to God and be on your way.
For ONLY HE and and not us will be here to stay!!!!
Oh God there is no one above You.
We exalt You to the highest view.
We sing Your praises everyday anew.
Thanking You for everything You do.
Oh God there is no one above You.

How I found it!!
I wasn't the brightest growing up,
But I was smart,
To you the aforementioned statement might sound like fart,
But what I'm trying to say is,
I never knew I had it in my to create such EPIC art,
Not until I got my heart broken,
By the thing we call LOVE or for me was it infatuation?
Well yeah, I thought we had something, because I felt something inside,
But apparently it wasn’t so,
So now I gather all my thoughts and put it on paper,
Cause I once heard a saying, "once you write it tends to ease the pain",
Oh I know, the hurt won’t go away right away,
But thank God for his great creation of paper and pen,
And of course Krystal George,
So now I can express how I feel from,
heart broken situation with himssssss,
To my friends, my life at school, my country,
Not forgetting how I feel towards my family,
So when you guys assemble,
To read my pieces and comment,
It shred me in pieces to actually think you guys take the time to read them,
Whether you'll can relate to them or not,
But for poetry I have found a passion,
So with God on my side and his strength I will keep it coming,

Burning through quite some oil of life
I remembered over what all had been,
There were some moments highlighted in my mind
Where loss and pain filled up the entire screen
Even though the present was wonderful not fine
I gave into my mind’s simple little tricks,
Thoughts jumped back to time when there was little money and
I remembered the car that wasn’t gifted when I turned six
This made me sad and I just sat thinking over
Why for small little things god made my mind wrestle,
I had forgotten that I drove my own car now
And lived with my family in a sweet little castle
Refusing to lament the things that were not
I remembered all the treasures with me that remain,
Wondering if I really enjoyed them all this time
Would there have had been any stings or pain
This glorified my journey of what it was till now
And that moment decided what I was going to be,
My life might take me through some unplanned waters
But I must thank god for whatever I see
