President Barak Obama has an economic stimulus plan
to move the nation out of this financial quicksand
with foreclosures and jobs lost the situation is depressing
over $700 billion to get us out of this recession
but I know that all my help comes from the Lord
and God won't let me write a check that I cannot afford
the God who made Heaven and Earth has never let me down
the God who created me won't let me financially drown
He is my source, He is my strength, He is my right hand
and since money is not the god I serve I trust in His stimulus plan
for I know my God is able to keep food on my table
I know my God will always come through whenever a bill is overdue
I know my God is up to the task to give me all that I ask
God's spiritual stimulus plan is my daily bread
infused with His promises that keep me spirit-fed
and no matter how dire my circumstance
I turn to God and He extends me a branch
for greater is He who is in me than what is in this world
and greater is what He has promised me than anything from man I've heard
He suffered for me, He died for me, His blood was on the cross
there's nothing He won't do for me so I won't suffer anymore loss
the joy of the Lord is now in my hands
my God's spiritual stimulus plan
and even when my back's against the wall
the God I serve won't let me fall
and even if my 401K has diminished
the God I serve will replenish
and even if my stock portfolio tanks
the God I serve has a full spiritual bank
exceedingly, abundantly and above all
the God I serve will answer my call
in all things, in anything and in everything
there's nothing that my God cannot change
my God is able and on His word I do stand
trusting in Him to revive me with His spiritual stimulus plan
Oh God there is no one above You.
We exalt You to the highest view.
We sing Your praises everyday anew.
Thanking You for everything You do.
Oh God there is no one above You.

the Lord gives us a shield of faith
he protects us at all costs
he picks us up when all else seems lost
he sheilds us from the sun rays
and from the the perils in our days
he is our deliverer he makes us strong
raises us up when we have been trodden on
when you feel you under attack hold your shield
high
for the greatest protection coems from God on high
the enemies bullets are like rubber and just bounce off and can not touch a single hair on
our head
he may fire them bulets at us but they will just bounce off instead. Amen
PROMISES FROM GOD:
Joshua 23:10 . . . The Lord your God fights for you, just as he has promised.
God will help fight your enemies.
1 Samuel 2:9 . . . He will protect his godly ones.
God protects his people.
Job 5:19 . . . He will rescue you again and again so that no evil can touch you.
God protects his people.
Psalm 9:9 . . . The Lord is a shelter for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.
Psalm 91:11 . . . He orders his angels to protect you wherever you go.
God’s angels watch over us.
Psalm 121:8 . . . The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.
God watches over us.
2 Thessalonians 3:3 . . . The Lord is faithful; he will make you strong and guard you from the
evil one.
God promises to protect and keep safe those who love him. But the ultimate fulfillment of
this promise is in the spiritual protection of God’s loving grace rather than physical
protection. Like Daniel’s friends, we must commit ourselves to obeying God no matter what
happens to our earthly body.
Psalm 17:6-15 . . . Guard me as the apple of your eye . . . When I awake, I will be fully
satisfied, for I will see you face to face.
This murky water you must tread
The many days you have come to dread
Will only last for a time
Hold firm to your faith and hope in God
Tomorrow brings a new day
The sun will arise the wind will blow
Whichever way it will
Stand strong in faith and have no fear
He has been to your future my dear
To my PS Family members going through a rough time! God bless you and give you peace!
Amidst the stress and strains of life rejoice
Don't fold now, you still can play the hand
Forget old rules, make a new paradigm for choice
The brail and vang is in your will's command
In your heart, just know your cause with God is right
The stakes for all is everything you are
Where your hands toil, work with all your might
And point the stern towards your homing star
Do not quit your dreams now, do not complain or cry
Stand boldly at the bow and keel against the wind
What matters if in the great struggle we die
We could not live forever anyhow, and still we win
For we have opened a path unopened before, and shew
Men how, for the world will after us in glory
But not behind the whimpering soul will any pursue
The grimacing shame of a coward's history.
Know whose you are, and who you are reclaim
For God made you in his image, and set your heart
To have dominion here, to replenish in the flame
Subdue the earth, now with honor do your part!
Tell winds and waves be still, tell the fire break
You have God's glory to your name, stand and fight
Do not quiver, let not the sun-centered rod shake
Day comes the morning after the darkest night.
When our lives come crashing down
around us like a hurricane
the Lord will build us back up
and restore us once again
and as he picks us up piece by piece
all our hurt and pain he will release
he will melt us and mold us
and make us even stronger than before
and our broken lives he will restore. Amen
ISA 57:18 I have seen his ways, but I will heal him;
I will guide him and restore comfort to him,
JER 30:17 But I will restore you to health
and heal your wounds,'
declares the LORD,
1PE 5:10 And the God of all Grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you
have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast
to him be the power forever and ever Amen.
DT 30 : 3
then the LORD your God will restore your fortunes and have compassion on you and gather
you again from all the nations where he scattered you. 4 Even if you have been banished to
the most distant land under the heavens, from there the LORD your God will gather you and
bring you back. 5 He will bring you to the land that belonged to your fathers, and you will
take possession of it. He will make you more prosperous and numerous than your fathers.
Our inner parts have begun to yearn,
For the blowing of the trumpet’s sound.
The plantings, for which we did mourn,
Will soon give bounty from the ground.
Filled to the full with Jerusalem’s flock,
The temple energizes with exaltation.
Satisfied with honey out of the rock,
Judea enjoys the finest wheat to satisfaction.
Paul’s stay at Ephesus had been at length,
So a trip to Jerusalem he did make up.
He had to “Sing aloud unto God our strength,
Make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob.”*
So Paul set sail back across the sea,
For, at the City of David, his heart must be.
* ref: Ps. 81:1
a portrait is a picture or a likeness of an object, person or place
a rendering, a representation of something in all of its grace
but a portrait of a Pastor is more than just a facade
it's not an image of what man thinks but a reflection of God
people come with their own agendas about what a Pastor should portray
but it's not his clothes nor his cars it's the message from God he conveys
a Pastor should be pictured as a faithful speaker who reveals the truth in his speech
an under shephard of our Lord Christ and it's the Gospel that he'll preach
a Pastor should be drawn as a mentor to his members and circumspect in his behavior
a prayer partner in conjunction with the Holy Spirit and Jesus our Savior
a Pastor should be an image of one who comforts all in their times of need
a teacher of the Gospel who in his flock tries to plant God's righteous seeds
a delineation of an obedient servant leader who stands firmly on God's Holy word
and he should not be the subject of gossip nor the pettiness of this world
a portrait of a Pastor should be a comment on his spiritual calling
an anointed man whom God will use to catch us when we've fallen
a portrait of a Pastor should be an exhibit of compassion, wisdom and respect
a display of leadership, kindness, humility and intellect
it should be a picture of a potter who tries to mold us into godly shape
a silhouette of a counselor who doesn't judge but advises when we make mistakes
a portrait of a Pastor should be a reflection of the image of our Lord Christ
a man who will always allow the Holy Spirit of God guide and rule his life
Chanting of hymns
filling this sweet evening air
chanting of hymns
takes me nearer to God it seems
I pray to God with my heart bare
relishing each moment so rare
chanting of hymns.
Wick lamps floating
on the sacred Ganges river
wick lamps floating
with wishes of people praying
in evening breeze flames quiver
and chanting of hymns filling air
wick lamps floating.

It is a wonderful feeling when we come together in love and fellowship.
psalm 133:1 says Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethern to dwell together in
unity!
It is also better to give than to receive, that's why this is such a special day.
we give to you our fellowship and love, always remembering that to God be the glory in all
that we do.
Fellwowship and love lift's the spirit and makes the heart glad.
In our giving we want to show how special you are, and the love we have for you.
giving is a gift and let us not forget the greatest gift of all.
John 3;16 for God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever
beleiveth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
we give our fellowship and love to you!
The Lord will supply all my needs and will fill up my cup.
You are a child of the King, bow to no negative circumstance or critical invective, so stand up!
God has wonderful plans for your life if you will just listen up!
God's spirit breathe new hope and life into you.
Believe who He says you are, not what others say to insult and humiliate you.
Embrace a bold and courageous attitude.
Always be polite never rude.
Believe who God says you are, not what enemies tag you,
To yourself just be honest and remain true.
Ask God to help you to "open your mouth and increase your territory" (prayer of Jabez in 1
Chronicles 4:10).
Prepare what you are going to say and then practice articulating your message clearly.
When all is dark around you and no light shines at the end of your tunnel of despair,
Always remember God loves you and cares.
Get up and walk; don't just sit around bemoaning your problems.
Beloved only our God can solve them.
Allow God to do a "new thing" in you (Isaiah 43)., Choose to become new again.
Ask God for a vision for your life, talk with God as you would a friend.
Take a sabbatical rest especially when you are being blessed.
He does all of this so we can ready where there is new danger.
Be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger.
there is much joy to be had during the Christmas season
as people celebrate the holidays of which many find so pleasing
even thought the days are now dark with this global economic strife
we still have joy for the birthday of our savior Jesus the Christ
so how do we take this joy and apportion it from day to day?
could it be by rejoicing in Christ as we journey on our way?
there is joy to be found when one honors and worships Christ
there is a joy to be maintained as we traverse this perilous life
but for the grace of God that Jesus sent when He died on the cross
as His resurrection was the salvation to amend our tragic loss
the joy is in the journey as you travel your life's road
the joy is in the doing it's not in accomplished goals
and in spite of your circumstances, your trials and your tribulations
there is joy in just being in Christ as everyday is a cause for celebration
you won't always be happy, euphoric nor full of cheer
but great joy is found in the knowledge that Jesus is still here
so don't fall prey to drugs and drink to make you feel glad
and don't think that happiness will take away all the sad
as drugs and drink are temporary and happiness is a transient outward sensation
true joy is found with the God in you that eternal hope called salvation
as those who have the joy of the Lord in life tend to have less stress
for they are like Mary, the mother of Jesus, highly favored and truly blessed
so don't worry about the temporary external facade of happiness
by which life's circumstances can destroy
you're on the greatest journey which is your life
and in Jesus there is joy
With broken heart and all alone, she cried.
“I love you.” were his words, but he lied.
A sweet young girl now lost in deep despairs.
No! Teenage pregnancy; God knows and cares.
She always was her daddy's little girl.
His precious child to womanhood was hurled.
A father's love surpasses anger's flares.
No! Teenage pregnancy; God knows and cares.
She went to church to learn the right and wrong.
A choir angel singing heaven's song –
Brothers, sisters solemnly sit and stare.
No! Teenage pregnancy; God knows and cares.
Her rounded body feels the life within.
Motherhood lives near to her chagrin.
Her mother held her close; the tears were theirs.
No! Teenage pregnancy; God knows and cares.
“Sure, she's nice,” he said, but we are so young.
Fatherhood was not for him; his song was sung.
“She should have been more careful,” he declares.
No! Teenage pregnancy; God knows and cares.

People emigrated from many shores
To a New World that had no closed doors
American culture’s diversity
Thank God we live in the land of the free
Asians, Africans, Europeans too
Many nationalities did accrue
Leaving behind countries with tyranny
Thank God we live in the land of the free
Troubles erupted among many clans
And yet now in peace we stand holding hands
A rainbow of blessings, God’s artistry
Thank God we live in the land of the free
This blend adds richness to the melting pot
Thankful for all the liberty we’ve got
Each has a place in our society
Thank God we live in the land of the free
Discrimination sinks into the past
Knowing that our strong bonds are sure to last
America says, “Welcome” to you and me
God’s blessings found in the land of the free

when there is nothing that you can personally do
it's time to step back and let Jesus fix it for you
the children of Israel were oppressed for 400 years
it was a situation that they could no longer stand to bear
then one day God told them have no fear and be still
I will deliver you if you just abide by My will
there will be some things in life you can handle and some you cannot do
you need to place your trust in Jesus and let Him fix it for you
in life there will be trials, tribulations, challenges and strife
but no one ever told you that you'd have a stress free life
when you look at the frustration that Jesus Himself had to endure
the struggle, the unbelief, the closed minds and the shut doors
accepted by some, rejected by many, beaten and then crucified
the ultimate sacrifice so that with God we could be reunified
He was sent to instruct us on how to live godly, righteous and true
and show us how to wait on the grace of God that will fall unto you
to have faith, to speak life, to sit back and learn to relax
and believe that God is always in the midst and He'll always have your back
to not worry about the petty stuff, to let go and let God
to love your friends as well as your enemies with a righteousness of heart
when you look at African-Americans and their 400 years of slavery
they were a people who trusted in God to put an end to that misery
they were constantly praying, always saying that the Lord would pull them through
always faithful, eternally grateful that Jesus would fix it for you
omnipotent, omnipresent and sufficient is His mercy and grace
always in the mix, nothing He can't fix no matter the time nor the place
God sent His perfect Son Jesus to be the sacrificial lamb for our salvation
the Prince of Peace, the Salt of the Earth, the Light of the World for all creation
so have no fear the angels do say
trust in God to always make a way
so don't worry about things that you cannot do
just stand still and let Jesus fix it for you
