Droplet's Sacrifice

The mission was simple;
To save the whole planet
From white clouds
Lies the troopers

The wind howled
As they fell down
A headfirst dive
At the speed of sound

Death is a friend of the Earth
They thought, as they fell across the sky
I am the savior of the Earth
But I know not how or why

Today they made a sacrifice
That little drop of rain
But it went over our heads
Life seems still and same

Thud
They disintegrate into the hungry plants
They watch their friends get absorbed
This perilous journey they undertook
For the good of our world

indictment of President Donald Trump

We the people of the United States along with much of the world WITNESSED WITH OUR OWN EYES / and is therefore / THE SELF-EVIDENT TRUTH that:

Donald j. Trump / on January 6th / undertook the means and methods along with co-conspirators to deny The Legitimate Will Of The People of The United States to carry to completion the peaceful transfer of the power vested in the administration of that office and is therefore:

DEVOID OF LEGAL LEGITIMACY IN EVERY ACTION / and anyone who is instrumental in carrying out his will has effectively entered into a CONSPIRACY TO BREAK THE LAW!

Therefore:

  1. All States Federal-Representatives must be recalled and new member sent back with the express purpose of removing this Republican dereliction through the process of impeachment

AND:

2. Arrest & Tri Donald j Trump for insurrection and treason.

Written: April 29, 2024

                       ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What a riddle our love was!
we embarked on an ariose trip
with balmy stride, we undertook
Elysian and Empyreal it was
a blissful encounter
an idyllic peace is meant to be,
a serendipitous path
crystal levels of azure size,
our spirits entwined
before we ever knew
we're infatuated now,
It rings with truth.
One's pulse quickens
In every kismet,
I never expected to feel this way
I have proof of that now,
In your grip, my soul resides,
and I will hold on forever
my love is growing stronger,
you are aware of the flow of time.
Our love is euphoric,
every day, I express my felicity,
for love unforeseen,
I was bestowed with a gift,
you unexpectedly invaded my life,
It spun my world around,
wreaking pandemonium
While we were together.
In awe, my heart soars, spellbound.
love is unexpected and divine.
everything came to fruition
you delight me and warm my heart,
our hearts beat in sync.
Premium MemberWhat Happened to Merry?
I ordered a sandwich in a corner cafe.
I remember like it was only yesterday,
How my close friend solemnly bowed his head to say,
“Something has happened to Merry.”
When the subject came up, he was so badly shook,
And his eyes dropped down - he was unable to look.
“What was it?”, I asked - to find out, I undertook,
What was it that happened to Merry?
“Is it something too horrible for you to say?
I should know of all people, your friend, don’t betray.
So, tell me right now, please, in all candor, convey
The dire matter in the life of Merry?”
Try as I might, the truth, I just could not pry it.
It seemed spec’ly to me; he would not supply it.
Leaving me in a state of dread and disquiet,
Wondering, what ghastly thing happened to Merry?
Here and there, when I occasioned to see a friend,
I’d see horrified looks, as the chat would suspend,
But up to now, and maybe even in the end,
I’ll be asking, “What was it that happened to Merry?”
Premium MemberSardar Patel
Memoriam of the Great Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel
Who was the first Vice Prime Minister and Home Minister
United each petty kingdom and state and made them dwell
In a single unit, and thus he did administer...
Ironman, he was called, due to his determination.
Kings and kingdoms, like thatched huts of coconut leaves, he shook.
For a united nation, he had no hesitation.
For this, each and every possible means he undertook
We heard, as a barrister, when he was hearing a case
He happened to get a telegram and just kept quiet.
Death of his wife! Yet, as a man in war, he took his place.
Fraternally, he and Neheru tackled each riot.
We had such politicians those days, I'm sorry to say.
We lack such. Is this why we have to go the statue way...?
At school I abhorred poetry
A poet I NEVER would be
But life dealt us a cruel blow
Hubby’s tests soon were to show
CANCER
Cancer is such a cruel disease
Since then life’s not been a breeze
When he faced the surgeon’s knife
It dramatically changed my whole life
WRITING
T’was the first time I picked up my pen
Over three thousand poems since then
Covid lockdown came so I undertook
My dreams to work on my first book
CREATING
366 poems, one for each day of the year
Only a fool like me would have the idea
The idea is finally coming to fruition
My editor’s superb, a creative magician
PUBLISHING
Dreams to publish at last will come true
Once editing and artwork are through
Then I’ll self publish my very first book
Silly poems, I hope you’ll take a look!
Madness
Of the future , a sign I once saw so clear
The vision brought neither hope nor fear
But a sign all the same
Like in a picture frame
So easy to see
What is to be
Open your eyes take a look
Like reading a book
Of the future that I wanted so dearly to see
What one day will be
Wanted to know
So I would be ready for the show
What will come to be
Searching for the unknown
 knowledge better left alone
If only I knew before it came
I could be ahead of the game
Have all the fame
Make myself known
With the visions I was shown
But every where I did look
This goal I undertook
The signs of all  I was seeking.
Of the tomorrows the signs simply said 'no peeking'
Words Fall Short In My Soul
Queen Elizabeth II was her name
Quite familiar in the world was her fame!
Her Majesty was the fascination of the time
Hardly one may forget her face, in the lifetime!
Kindness was her message
Kingdom held her as the image!
World has loved her all these years
Why should she let the world into tears?
On her centenary, I awaited to greet
Oh! Heart pains, as I can't meet!!
With love she held everyone, like a mother
With love world shall remember her, forever!
Why should she undertook a different voyage?
Words fall short in my soul, to pay her homage!
Old Cookbooks
I’m tossing out most of my cookbooks;
Makes sense since I don’t really cook.
The pages are marked
From the times I embarked
On a challenge which I undertook.
Those recipes once brought me pleasure,
But now seem like much more of a pain.
I’ve got quite a good deal
Since my spouse makes each meal
So from kitchen work I can refrain.
Still, from reading the notes I once entered
On those pages all covered with stains,
I can wistfully say
Things are better this way
For at dinner now, no one complains.
I Ploughed Myself Into a Hazy Dream
I ploughed myself into a hazy dream
The depths of which I dared not leave
I did not then but now I see
The truths that stand before me
A cathartic cause that they undertook
That echos through the ages
Stories told by mystic men
Of queens and kings and sages
It’s time too pay the devils due
The pain inside me rages
I wrote my death into a book
It’s found within these pages
Premium MemberNobody Knew Better Than Him
Nobody knew better than him the value
 Of great art --
The need to preserve the memory of
  Great artists;
Do not even the basest of us feel
 Overwhelming emotion, hushed awe?
Great art should seem to the eye all
  Things divine rather than human;
But still, of any person...it should fall
 to him
To obliterate the most magnificent
   Art had then yet to offer.
A crime committed in full view
 Of the old city's appalled populace;
He undertook it with selfsame blase'
  Nonchalance
Such as dictators sometimes so indulge in
 When immersed in their own idle genocides.
The mind that contrived such eloquent,
  Articulated words
Hell-bent on a dreadful, utterly
 Inconceivable destruction!
And following on from this terrible
  Silence of a long, drawn-out aftermath?
The choirs of gathering voices offering up
 Glorianas and praises-in-excelsis
  For that which unceasingly labours to exalt
In the banality of the prosaic and mundane.
How Do I Find Success
How Do I  Find Success?
				Writing away, day by day,
				Words are what I do,
				Writing a story
				Every character has to have some glory,
				Writing a poem
				Line by line,
				Making that poem rhyme,
				Writing a book,
				That’s what I undertook,
				And the writing continued
				For me,
				Day after day,
				Month after month,
				Year after year,
				Churning out my best,
				But how do I find success?
				Published, sure, I am,
 				In magazines, journals, ba-bam!
			        -so many I lost count,
				So many books I’ve had published,
				But unfortunately, not on the grand scale,
				I’d hoped for, working hard to no avail,
				Hoping and hoping,
				Writing away, day by day,
				Churning out my best,
				I need some big success!!!!
Premium MemberToy Soldiers In a Row
Festive, elegant nights,
And toy soldiers in a row.
Multi-colored Christmas lights
Reveal eyes that seem to know!
They gleam by the fireside
With Nutcracker and Drummer Boy,
And all so solemn, dignified,
As if under command to deploy.
Toy soldiers, tall and brave-Oh my!
Dressed all in dark blue and red.
Brave soldiers never cry.
Brave soldiers have never fled.
Toy soldiers, how well they look!
Upon the varnished, wooden floor.
A secret mission they've undertook,
In a most secret war!
Silent soldiers, under hidden command,
So somber and all aglow!
The festive hall so grand,
And toy soldiers in a row.
Premium MemberI Have Your Back My Feathered Mate
I have your feathered back, friend, we are fine.
You have my soul, dear, together we are sublime.
I sing my song with a heartfelt tweet,
Since we met, my life is much more complete.
I have your worm here, and I want to share.
Yes, darling, with you, love is in the air.
I will share my heart, my soul, my nest.
I will grow old with you, that is the true test.
You are the prettiest courting bird I have ever met.
I do not care to ever meet another, my sweetheart pet.
You are mine, and I am yours. Forever and ever.
I am so glad I undertook this worm challenge endeavor.
You have my feathered back, I have your enormous heart.
Let us agree to never too long stay apart.
