Glory to her hands that stitched the green,
That sought the pieces of a love torn wide:
For her strong grief, a river spilling light:
For her sharp magic, beautiful and keen,
That found the fragments and refused to hide:
And knit his broken body back from night.
All things lost, scattered, shattered, and undone:
Whatever's broken (who can say why?):
She holds the pieces, breathes them into form:
She births the sun from what was not a sun:
Let life begin.
Beneath the weight of bleak grey skies,
I rise, though storms would blind my eyes.
No tide nor tempest bends my soul
Of those who stand, though hearts be cold.
Through thorn filled paths and bitter winds,
I pray my soul reborn, where hope is all.
The chains that sought to steal my flame
Are melted by a forge unnamed.
Invictis! —cry it through the dark,
A beaconed flare, where darkness dwells.
May stars bear witness, live or dead,
I've run the race, I am measured still.
I felt wars break in my heart—
violence my voice could not
bear to fight alone—
and still, despite the lies
I sometimes believe, I stand
each day in the strength
of my creations, weaving hope
into miracles—thread by doubtful thread,
even as the world screams
or turns away—
even as my hands
constrict my own throat—
I bear the unfathomable ache
of crafting the unbroken.

Title: “Unbroken”
I've not been hurt before
No one has ever left me this kind of sore.
The words you spoke penetrated than a knife.
But I'm still alive.
The pain runs deep beneath my skin,
A silent battle I fight within.
Though shadows fall and nights are long,
I gather strength to carry on.
This heart, though bruised, will not betray,
It learns to heal in its own way.
For every scar is proof I strive—
Still here, still whole, still alive.

My friend comes through and talks to me,
With their stuck nails being all I can see.
Instead of listening further,
I get my wrench and try to loosen the nails,
Trying to make them no longer be a problem.
However, what I couldn’t see,
Was that my wrench was damaging the nails,
The ones in my friend,
And they were only getting tighter in their flesh.
I reflect on my wrench, and I feel it’s broken.
But when I reflect some more, I realize it’s not broken.
Wrenches aren’t able to get nails out.
They would’ve asked for my nail puller if they wanted me to do that.
Even then, the pain of the nail would still be there from the force.
If I listened more to my friend, and stopped putting fixing their problems up to me,
Maybe the nails would’ve actually come a bit looser less forcefully,
And this, because I love them, I wish I could see.
Caution around that window, my friend!
What of it now?
It lets you see outside and reflects in.
What of it, then?
Some things once seen must be exhumed.
Why the fuss?
It musn't break for it is strong.
Strength will not cherish it.
It musn't break for it will cut.
Blood trickles as tears.
It musn't break for it shows truth.
Truth outside will not yearn for you.
It musn't break for it reflects your heart.
The heart is not in the glass.
It is! The heart is glass!
Then, have my hammer.
“ CIRCLE “
THE UNBROKEN LINE OF A CIRCLE UNABLE TO ESCAPE
TRAPED FOREVER IN FRUSTRATION PERFECTIONS OWN MISTAKE
THE PERFECTION OF A CIRCLE THE LINE TRAPED WITHIN
IT’S ENDING AGAIN TO JUST BEGIN
FRUSTRATED STRAIGHT LINE TWIRLED INTO AN ENDLESS CIRCLE
WITHOUT DIRECTION ONLY REPETITIVE PERFECTION
She was not born in gilded light,
No tender touch to soothe the night.
The world she knew was cracked and cold —
A thousand truths she never told.
She learned to roar before she spoke,
From chains of fear, her spirit broke.
No silver spoon, no soft embrace —
Just sharpened claws and burning grace.
They called her wild, they called her wrong —
But shadows made her fierce and strong.
She licked the wounds that others gave,
And carved her name from what they paved.
The lioness does not retreat —
She bears the scars, she claims defeat.
Yet still she rises, fierce and free —
A queen who owns her destiny.
For love was never fed with ease,
It hid between the jagged seas.
But now she rules where fear once lay —
The lioness has found her way.
The road was long, the path was tough,
The world was harsh, the going rough.
But with each step, though slow and small,
I found the strength to stand up tall.
The winds may roar, the rain may fall,
But I still rise above it all.
Each scar I bear, each tear I've shed,
Has shaped the courage in my head.
I may have faltered, stumbled, lost,
But I’ve learned what it takes to cross.
For deep within, a fire burns —
A light that never fails, it turns.
And though the world may test my might,
I know I’ll keep on through the fight.
For I am strong, and I will stay,
Unbroken, come what may.
Like a whirlwind on a wild, untamed ride/
Life threw you twists, and poor choices arrived/
But hatred? No, it finds no home in me/
For love stands stronger, vast as the sea/
Your divine light, though it flickers dim/
Still shines in the shadows, steadfast within/
Family don't abandon, no matter the trial/
Through storms and sorrow, we'll walk each mile/
We are blood, tied by unbroken strands/
Together forever, in life's shifting sands/
I forgive you, for my heart knows no hate/
It's forged from gold, love it's innate fate/
Family stays, through the highs and the lows/
In forgiveness and love, our connection grows/
In shadows cast by whispers cruel embrace/
A victim of their baseless fears and scorn/
For faith, for truth, for what they can't replace/
I stand, though battered by the storm/
Their hate, a torrent, floods the fragile ground/
Yet in my heart, a fire burns so bright/
Falsely accused, my innocence profound/
Their lies can't cloak my ever rising light/
Emotions surge, a tempest in my soul/
But hate's cold grip can never reach it's core/
For I am strong, unyielding and whole/
A survivor, steadfast, evermore/
Their hate, a fleeting shadow, passes by/
But my divine light, eternal, shines anew/
Unbroken spirit, reaching for the stars/
Their darkness can't extinguish what is true/
Shattering the Unbroken Cycle
Bully's shadow looms, a pervasive stain
across all sectors, absurd, yet sustained
Governments and schools deny workers' rights
incentives, facilities, and dignity's light
Seniors torment juniors with blows and pain
emotional scars, hunger, and shame's stain
Educators wound with words, with physical might
abuse and fear, a toxic, endless night
Domestic walls conceal violence and despair
husbands, wives, and shattered vows laid bare
Governments neglect, oppress, and deny
basic rights, humanity, and a chance to thrive
Even sacred spaces hide oppression's face
wealth and power, a sharp, humiliating knife's pace
Do we bully for fleeting power's sake?
Is happiness not our purpose, our heart's ache?
Can't we choose kindness, unity, and love?
Break bully's chains, send humanity from above
Through the eye of a needle, narrow yet unyielding,
Belief burns bright spoken, lived, received.
Pain is the toll, loneliness the price,
Friends lost, enemies born, love sacrificed.
It’s not about you but your boundless potential,
A storm caged, breaking, roaring for freedom.
The cost is everything; the reward?
Respect. Power. Transformation.
When the world steals, betrays, crushes
Rise. Fight. Don’t you dare quit.
They throw their stones,
cast their shadows over those
I hold dear,
and with every sneer,
every whispered word,
they try to break them.
But I won’t stand by.
I won’t watch quietly
as they tear at the threads
that bind us together.
They don't know the strength
it takes to stand firm
against the weight of their hate.
But I do.
And I will not let my friends
My people crumble
I’ve seen the fear in their eyes,
felt the sting of their pain,
and each time,
it cuts deeper,
burns brighter.
But I won’t let it end here.
I will fight,
with the fire of love
that refuses to be quenched,
with the fury of loyalty
that refuses to fade.
They can spit their venom,
they can laugh their cruel laughter,
but they will never break us.
For what are we,
if not a shield for each other,
a force too strong to be silenced?
So let them come,
let them bring their hate
I will stand,
unbowed,
for my friends,
for the ones I call home.
When the sky comes to life the silence is unbroken even as I breathe
