Inadequacy is not an excuse in the kingdom of God

There are no excuses in the Kingdom of God
It is God’s Kingdom and
He will provide for the situation

You have a coach
So don’t approach a situation
Without the Holy Spirit!

He advises, corrects, instructs, trains, tutors, guides
directs and prepares you for your assignment

The Kingdom of God has everything you need while
You are on earth, so ask in His Name and
Align your prayers with His Purpose

You have a coach
So don’t approach a situation
Without the Holy Spirit!

Premium MemberMusing on Memories

Do some unpleasant memories fade away?
Or does the mind have a protective guard,
That, at times, locks the door to the past,
And shields the soul from agony's crush.

Do some memories serve as wise tutors,
That instructs the mind from time to time,
Lest the brain's library becomes forsaken,
Void of guidance for life's daily challenges?

Memories can plague the mortal mind.
They are often protesting against stiff resistance,
Demanding its rightful role and sacred duty,
To catalog the experiences of human events.

Memories acknowledge good and bad events.
They do not euthanize the painful truth,
Nor do they embellish or rewrite the facts.
They exist, impartial and unyielding.

Memories can be either friend or foe.
Perhaps that's the constant inward fear,
Why we are wary of the sentinel's mind,
Unsure what memory will breach that door

The Fathers of Life

Education is a must,
So your mind can be robust,
Through blood, sweat, and tears,
It's the 6 inches between the ears,
For the people that give,
So you can truly live,
The teachers and mentors,
The tutors and scholars,
So you have no strife,
The Fathers of Life.

The Father in the Child

Every father’s child,
A seed in the wild,
Nature and nurture are its tutors,
The unseen are its captors.

Every father’s child,
Crafted by the gentle and mild,
They come to a vast field,
Oblivious of tomorrow’s yield.

Every father’s child,
Made to go through the wild,
As they hunt for treasures in the night,
Time teaches them to fight.

Every father’s child,
Their tomorrow is scripted and filed,
Carried by tender bosom,
Separated as they blossom.

Pride of Place

The movers wheeled the piano in the apartment
my tutors revealed plateaus climbed as an artist
hours flying pages turned black and white keys charted
scoured trying ages I played packed plight I started
recitals, concert halls, from practicing hardest
reprisals, my art calls, the piano sits modest
In my twilight years I teach children to harvest
the wild bright light nears, to each the piano harnessed

Happy Labour Day

Today I have nothing more to say,
Am only wishing you happy labour day,
To all workers from Nairobi to Homa Bay,
Respect to workers who don't receive a pay,
Yet they volunteer to serve free day by day.

Big up to our beloved journalists,
Salute to designers and all artists,
Who work hard to update our playlists,
Respect to all mentors and sociologists,
Without forgetting poets and therapists.

Respect to engineers and inventors,
Salute to medical workers and doctors,
The entertainment actresses and actors,
Respect to teachers, professors and tutors,
Without forgetting masons and contractors.

One-Day

One day he will pass that road,
where there's a building full of memories old.
A wave of thought will splash his mind,
Will remember some people of his kind.

One day he will cross that gate,
where he was often standing for being late.
He will roam here and there all around,
But will not find his squad on the ground.

One day he will climb those stairs,
Where he often spotted some lovely pairs.
His wet eyes will observe flash for a while,
Will remember those idiots and will give a smile.

One day he will enter that class,
Will smile by seeing those broken window glass.
His ears will sense some weird sound,
Tutors complaining, "Why talking so loud?".
He will observe some benches which were spoiled nicely in past,
But to his wonder, his favorite bench remains LAST.

Election Chaos

The tiger was caged without splendor or pomp
His mistake had been "not draining" the swamp.

The captors were, of course, so very adorable.
They reveled with peers but not the deplorable.

Decades of schooling by progressive tutors
Millenial cagers were the loudest rooters.

Everything free and nothing to worry
Yell at the tiger with unbounded fury.

One hopes this story will end in success
And not just another mistaken guess.

Education isn’t vain for any child
school process, biting for both as the peeling of onions
intelligence is sad, looks and shrugs
the mind of this young chap is a busy compound
trying its best to catch up but still staggers
how can this sleepy brain be made to get tingly?
how can we manage its pace from start to final?
using the tactics of other tutors, a platitude
as some water this growth in the box of chivalry
from previous handlers, this development they rivet
no child is born with the gene of a block head
so let’s come together to make him the star he’s meant to be.

Sarah, the princess of Babonia, turned one
King and Queen would host the celeberation
Sarah, the princess, was happy to have fun
Sarah, the princess of Babonia, turned one
In company of friends she would run
From her nanny she would get a vacation
Sarah, the princess of Babonia, turned one
King and Queen would host the celebration.

Sarah, the princess did not have friends before
She would love to play with them
King and Queen did not bother spends, therefore
Sarah, the princess did not have friends before
She was made to learn royal manners even more
Her tutors were happy as she was a precious gem
Sarah, the princess did not have friends before
She would love to play with them.

Listen up lowlife, I make greatness look trite,
Arrogance so far below me, I’m way out of sight,
The whole world’s something, stuck to my shoe,
Never wear mainstream, only designer brand new.

Could not care less, weather you live or die
Be sure your funeral cortège stops, as I pass by,
Don’t even look at me, gaze upon the ground,
Better not breathe same air, when I’m around.

Completely flawless, no mirror can reflect me,
Chosen by myself, to judge everyone that I see,
When speaking put polished marbles in my mouth,
Step outside our mansion, everything goes south.

Family’s so privileged, only private tutors we seek,
When at the opera, have our own personal suite,
Only best Moët Chandon, passes through my lips,
No matter how good the service, I never give tips.

Yes obnoxiously happy, confident I’ll never die,
So just go and wallow, but find your own pigsty,
I’m a total master class, in unbridled snobbery,
Made my billions, defrauding the IRS in robbery.

Premium MemberMy Marsupial Mommy and Me

I was just a little one, in the grass, enjoying the sun,
when a shadow covered me.
She had appeared suddenly, in one swell hop.
It was a tall warm-feeling shadow. I reached up my hands,
and pulled down a cozy nook
That no one could probably ever top.

I promptly jumped inside, and settled down,
feeling loved and wanted. In a pink pouch.
I hoped this instant love would never stop.
I now had a Mommy who was a kangaroo,
and she was okay and so was I.
Best of all, we both like to power shop.

We went everywhere together, my new marsupial mommy and me.
Wonderful dual relationship did crop.
For years and years, she home-schooled me, I had tap and violin.
I dreamed to be a doctor, or a cop.

She brought in tutors, when I did not understand Latin.
She urged me to try my wings, to play and hop.
But I was happy, inside my pouch, safe from the others.
I never felt rain, not even one tiny drop.

And when I want the sun, I poke out my head,
I sometimes feel it on my face, but then I stop.
For I am staying here until I am dead.
Staying here always, feeling loved, is what I opt.

Dreamscapes inundate;
I am trapped in-between them;
No escape is visible.
Fox comes on the edge;
Four-legged animal guide,
Offers me spirits advice;
Yes, I will follow;
Dreamscape slows; we are in woods;
Among the wilds, I will learn.
Badger and wolf come;
“Join us”; spirits sent by God;
Dream guides personal tutors.
