Turquoise Poems

Premium MemberI am Turquoise

I am forever roaming, turquoise,
Thrashing, with a roaring noise.

I'm often kissed by sunset's lips,
Red in passing, on endless trips.

Reflected in my sparkling deeps,
The sky I once was, often peeps.

I'm foliage and flowers and birds.
I am so much, but I'm also earth!

Lately, I'm more blue than green.
Save the planet! Keep it all clean!

Premium MemberGate for the Dead

Built in the middle of Nowhere,
A gate of turquoise, very rare,
A sculptor carved a figurehead,
The gate was built to guard the dead.

It's best to come on full-moon night,
for the dead don't care for sunlight.
GHOSTLY music is often heard,
And one unidentified word.

It's said, on a September date,
GROANING is heard near the big gate.
GRIEF-STRICKEN singing to the

Premium Memberpoolside

I love a long holiday and as a general rule
you’ll find me out by a turquoise pool
cause it’s hot outside and I’m nobody's fool.

Closing my eyes I lazily daydream
listening to my favorite music stream
umbrella shaded from harsh sunbeams.

I’ve put away polemic school assignments
for leisure and tastier desultory refinements
like buffalo wings, pizza and dirty martinis
and the

Premium MemberMarlas Cat Turquoise

There was a plethora of magical cats in Marla’s magic hat.
She concealed two of them from the regular populace.
The naysayers, doubters, and the ones on the fence.
Knowing they could not handle Turquoise who was outrageous.

Turquoise is a tabby who materialized or rather transmogrified.
Appearing on a Saturday six years ago in June. She watched him do

Premium MemberMango Kiss

Moon be my magenta muse
Come wrestle me lavender loose
From a sleepless silver song
Mahogany melodies all night long

I imagine licorice lover’s loft
And mango kisses so soft
Teal tormenting yet tender thought
On warm white sheets I toss

Could you emerald exist in time
Are you just a toy in my mind
Inspired by red angst a fire
To join in loin

Premium MemberTurquoise Thoughts

Talk turquoise thoughts with your eyes
Reel me in like silver fish on white line
You took me with hooking lips so witty
Telling me selling me on how I’m pretty

Holding my hand you stole my heart
Can’t tell when the fantasy will start
Lose track of time when with you
It’s a good time and the sky is blue

If

Premium MemberMutiny by Food In Me

Woke up from deep peaceful sleep
Acid reflux turquoise troubling me
With regret I rethink what'd I eat
Cheesy potato skins culprit me thinks

The food is rebelling behind my breast
Like blue boat sailing in my chest
Gas and vomit won’t let me rest
I must eat better I cranberry confess

Premium MemberIf I Were

If I were a kente kite
I’d hang u by your toes
And we’d delight in flight
Of poetic purple prose

We would drop lines
So electric and so divine
Emerald eclectic electric shine
Lighting up the darkest minds

If I were a holy book
I’d say all the right words
Anyone who takes a look
Would feel seen and heard

No need for virgin vanity

Premium MemberLunar Laughs

Dreaming esteeming despite reality’s limitations
Red rendezvous with you like a blank bank check
Our rainbow love so fluid like confetti celebration
So unique so mystique a heart sparks is blessed

Your solar smile stays hot wild
melting any dilemma
We planted a love garden by the Nile
despite nights crisp nights in November

I notice you are

Premium MemberDandelion Lines

My pen rights my sins
I can admit my faults
Time and time again
Writing finds me when lost

That’s the fun of it
To lose myself in my pages
If dark then find me lit
By the enchanting words and phrases

I’m embarrassed to admit
Often I don’t think at all
Pink pen seems to vomit
And journal catches it raw

You can

Thoughts shot like black darts
Ricocheting in decaying glass hearts
So uninspired so much to be desired
Black and white lines crossed tossed

I’m the piano playing out of tune
I’m poinsettia’s of black bloom
I’m the one that got away to soon
The flood of tears your fears of monsoon

Red tide inside of passions death
Never did lie to you lied

Hot then cold cold then hot
Peri menopause is that all you got
Frying my ovaries sunny side up
Serve them with cheese to fertile love

I get frisky then change my mind
I’m like whisky or unnamed wine
Not too ripe nor too young on vine
Still a bit spicy for red valentine

Looking inside I’m more mature
I’ve learn to glide past
