I’ve just been burden,
By my miss deeds I chosen
Subconsciously, missed believed
I have hurt a fellow being
Chance unto, changes be known
Weather the storms I am covered
I am dripping wet in my mess
I am covered
I am drenched in my tears I rain on myself
And heavens grip I’d relished it
I’ve been chosen
So I’ve misspoken aloft
I was lost the rainbow, guided me home
I have hurt a fellow being
Now I’m not receiving
But let it be known I am forgiven
And that I’ve finally grown

~ Sung to Standard
     3-Chord Blues Riff ~

  Don't have no money
    Don't have no job
  Don't have no honey
    Just wanna sob

  Don't see no hope
    Ain't nothin' to do
  Strung out on dope
    Just singin' the blues

But I got me two hands
And a heart that don't quit
  Gonna find me some land
Make it bloom, use my wits

  I'll make me a life
    Find me a good wife
  Pray to God every day
    to show me the way

  I'll make me a life
    Find me a good wife
  Pray to God every day
    to show me the way...

A Great Turnaround

The face of grace looked upon the world.
twas not perfect till he made a replica of his being.
and called him man.
came then an offender who caused his creation to sin.
His deceit and true intent unbeknown to the woman.

A heart Laden with sorrow, that great being.
Contemplated vengeance.
Then came the one from the beginning who was one with him in accordance.
"send me!" said he I will go.
to thee shall I return thy beloved, remember thy mercy and
to me thy power bestow.

Accursed and lowly came he a baby.
His father a carpenter bethroded to the blessed virgin
called Mary.
Unto us a child is born, the prince of peace, messiah and anchor.
Prophesied erstwhile as wonderful, counselor, saviour.
Yet never was he haughty.
humbly born in a manger,he will conquer the adversary.

Hallelujah! The angels sing, a great turn around for mankind.
let every knee bow and constricted chains unbind.
Hosanna! for the saviour is born.
Be ye of good cheers and to his feet the tribute of praise
adorn.
He is Immanuel,Jesus Christ the king above all kings
Who unto us,grace and evalasting life brings.

The Tunnel

wayra

trapped in a tunnel
channel for careless choices
bright lights, brilliant colors fade
with fear of vows broken.
The way out: turn around to truth.

The Turnaround

We have come to the juncture
   They are at the turnaround
                Hey,
They are headed for Heaven
       Yet, the others'
    Are heaven bound
        With no distention
They are lost to be found
    They are looking for Eternal
          Edification, which can only
Be found through the trust of God
              - And -
      To thy God, Ye' must
     Submit or become like
           The others'
  Amidst' the bottomless pit

The Turnaround

I'm caught up in a maelstrom
That's trying to pull me in
I keep on swimming outward
But I feel that I can't win

Like feces in a toilet
As the water pulls it down
I refuse to let that happen
I will not let me drown

My mind is forged from muscle
My muscles forged from steel
They both combine to give me strength
To carry out my will

When I survive to stay alive
I'll celebrate the day
I'll take a breath and heave a sigh
And then I'll have my say

I'll stand upon a pedestal
The crowds will cheer my name
I'll raise my hands in victory
And they will do the same

The sun will share my glory
And the stars will share my shine
All will know the beauty
That the three of us combine

I have a heart. I have a soul
I have a light within
Let everybody out there know
My final word is "WIN"

Governmental Turnaround

No monetary stipend
Can justify my time
Big brother is still watching
And stealing; what a crime
My days; time has depleted
My nights; too tired, spent
I have to work for money
To somehow pay the rent
With hands now in my pockets
And struggling for the green
I feel like I am losing
You all know what I mean
Economy has fallen
What’s risen is the cost
Of living each, every day
While feeling very lost
I look over my shoulders
Each day while in employ
That just causes misery
And seldom any joy
Seems the money’s running out
And soon it will be gone
May just have to sell the house
And move out on the lawn
Government, please work it out
The money’s not out there
We need your help, right away
But do you even care?
Unemployment’s at its worst
The jobs have fallen short
Have to boost economy
You have to give support
The people of America
They serve you tried and true
How’d you like it if they then
Had turned their backs on you?
It wouldn’t be so pretty
Now would it, please just think
You might end up on the street
With clothes that then would stink

Turnaround Is Fair Play

The maniacal genius, with crimes, his intent
Used for a weapon a bag of cement
He threw it from, the skyscraper high
Where innocents didn’t see it fall from the sky
He said that the sacrifices had to be made
For many a man he had to kill to be saved
But what of this fool that knew not what’s true
He missed everyone and he got what was due
For now in a prison yard breaking the stone
He’s making cement, for purpose, not his own
At night in his bunk, the lights dim, a twitch
He new what was coming as he became someone’s…

Payback is one too…
