trapped in a tunnel
channel for careless choices
bright lights, brilliant colors fade 
with fear of vows broken.
The way out: turn around to truth.

thanks, Eve, I liked your Ramsgate piece, is that a real tunnel? the alliteration is great: existence echoes emptiness and the "powdered rouge" - perfect, gritty.
