My name is Timothy
But when spoken upon your lips
It sounds so differently than any other
Your lips must be smoother than butter relaxing like rain
I never knew another to be more graceful or outspoken
Maybe I would like to take a closer look inside your soul
Would I find Disappointment or Encouragement
Or better yet Empathy
Like The Force of Your Soul that Flows through Me
Like Whip cream and Strawberries
Like any anywhere in Texas
If I could escape this place like Sodom Gomorrah
Because I want to be with you today and not tomorrow
And that be my sorrow
And when see me down casted maybe I need to borrow
A smile with a few words of encouragement
Because if two faces confront me
I can't afford to be caught off my guard or in my sleep
Cause it's my soul Satan wants to corrupt
It's the Love for you in my heart that will never give up
Henry Cross said to the frozen Herman
"Why didn't you go to Claire's?"
I like Cross mentioned Jenny's
Why didn't Timothy just go there?
From one brother to another
"Later bro" and "so long"
Parting ways like Alyosha and Ivan in
"The Brothers Karamazov"*
Every memory every lesson
We learned along the way
For most of our lives we were kept apart
By the choices that we made
I don't know what it's like in Heaven
They'll welcome you there, I would expect
And until we meet again
Beyond the blue where I now reflect
In these days that we live in
the walk of faith is no picnic
attacks come from every side
makes one feel spiritually sick
there is a remedy to all this
seek God first and first alone
worship the Lord for His grace
knowing His presence in every bone
God's word declares stand strong
no matter the opposition you face
for God is always at your side
being personally upon your case
Trust God's hand to pull you through
be led by His Spirit to guide you
over every barrier, satan brings about
listen well to know what you do
Don't give a thought to any dreams
their teachings be sure to throw away
hold fast to God's faithful scriptures
stay faithful till the final day!
("Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, ")
1 Timothy 4: 1 (ESV)
Don’t know what to do
Have the Catholic Bible
I don’t know what to do with it
Opened the New Testament,, 2nd Letter to Timothy
Gifts Timothy has received
Love, Self Control and Strength
Was appointed a Preacher, Apostle and Teacher
Guard this rich and Trust
Paul’s Suffering
Everyone in Asia deserted me
Phygelus and Hermogenes
May the Lord grant mercy to the family of Onesiphorus
The Lord gave me a New Heart
Was not ashamed of my chains
thunderstorm side wind
clip Dumbo's oversize ear
belly meadow burn

Timothy was very thin
He was all bones and skin
To cap it all
He was tall
Like the rest of his kin
Dearest Timothy,
It took twenty years
to face your folks
between grateful tears
So sad to say
your your son died
saving mine.
Hard?
indeed.
I finally have, however.
Hard for both
your father and me
Though my load
is somewhat lighter now.
I love and miss you all
"Charlie squad"
Doc,
I will always live
with a sense of guilt
for what you gave
that day in 68.
You'll live
forever in my heart-
Never in a damp dark grave.
I love you brother
even in death.
Yours, Allen

Timothy Dimwit
Timothy Dimwit would not go to school
And all of his mates considered that cool
But Timothy Dimwit was never in school
And as a result he knew nothing at all
Timothy Dimwit couldn't spell bat
He couldn't spell dog and he couldn't spell cat
He couldn't spell cod and he couldn't spell sprat
He did once spell hat, he was quite proud of that
Timothy Dimwit could not kick a ball
Because he decided, there must be a tool
Or some kind of whistle through which he could call
To cause it to rise up and bounce off a wall
Timothy Dimwit thought chips grew on trees
That candyfloss simply blew in on a breeze
And honey he wouldn't have guessed came from bees
But meatballs, he thought, could give cows trembly knees
Timothy didn't know Francais was French
That there was a kind of a fish called a Tench
Or that in the park, there's a seat called a bench
And Americans all call a spanner a wrench
So, I hope that you don't think that I'm preaching at all
With good education, you're nobody's fool
But Timothy Dimwit did not go to school
And as a result, he knew nothing at all.
God looks for those that are His men
and His women too to run His disciples race
His instruction given to Timothy are for all
to live for God planted in His grace
Flee fast from the ways of this world
run as your life is all that will matter
take hold by faith of the promises of God
seeking godliness lived out not just chatter
Righteousness is to be our pursuit
a life filled with faith love and wonder
as well as steadiness and courtesy
rejoice in God who drew us from earth's plunder
Run hard in earnestness and speed
looking to the glory which will be your prize
seize eternal life from the hand of God
which you were called to when Jesus did rise
Before many witnesses, you took your calling
with fervency, you did eagerly embrace
God's way filled with trust in His word
looking to the day you'll see His face
(But you, Timothy, man of God: Run for your life from all this. Pursue a righteous life—a life of wonder, faith, love, steadiness, courtesy. Run hard and fast in the faith. Seize the eternal life, the life you were called to, the life you so fervently embraced in the presence of so many witnesses.')
1 Timothy 6: 11,12 (The Message)
Living in this world as God's servant
seeking to please the creator of all
our giving must be total of one's self
nothing less is acceptable for your call
This call is divinely sent from heaven above
the triune God Himself selects His very own
for to serve their master on the highest of high
He who saved them from a heart of stone
The living God who gives His approval
to only those that give Him their best
so they've no need of being ashamed
standing tall truly passing God's test
God has given mortal men His word
the divine inerrant authoritative scriptures
this needs corrective handling throughout
for God's truth is indeed what really cures
Be faithful to the God of wonders
standing firm proving God is true
giving yourself to His perfect will
to worship Him who made you
(2 Timothy 2:15 "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a
worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.")
O Lord my God full of mercy and truth
I humbly come to you to seek your face
pleading your forgiveness and redemption
in emptiness I come to your amazing grace
Teach me Lord to be on my knees
reverently in godly fear speaking prayer
learning to listen to your still small voice
hearing you clearly is like clear morn air
Give me a mind for real study
make your word implanted in my heart
help me meditate upon it real deep
so your holy writ pierce me like a dart
Provide me with all spiritual weapons
to fight off the devils deadly attack
help me to stand strong against him
clothed in Christ’s righteousness no lack
Make me faithful to the end
holding forth your word divine
no matter what hold me close
Having that assurance you’re mine
O Lord fill me up with yourself
make me true to you as my friend
give me your holy approval in Christ
to walk in your steps I ask, Amen!
(Study to show yourself approved to God’) 2Timothy 2: 15)
Looking above for divine wisdom
that’s where you believe it’s found
but it’s found within the holy scriptures
where the truth is so fully sound
Filling oneself with a holy godliness
one which shows God’s righteous state
the almighty full of power and splendour
who holds you together not left to fate
Mix this godliness with something sweet
the sweetness of divine contentment
granting a deep[ peace in your soul
from this position of spiritual betterment
The greatness of this awesome blessing
is such a wonder for one to behold
in this we receive such great gain
such a jewel can’t even compare gold
This is such a winning formula
godliness and contentment never to tear
holds your heart in such constant peace
that makes no need to ever fear
(‘Godliness with contentment is great gain’ 1 Timothy 6: 6 )
There is a saying worthy to tell
Into this world Christ Jesus came
To save sinners He did come
All glory indeed to His name
This Jesus became sinners substitute
Taking on Himself all of their sin
Paying the price the perfect sacrifice
God put on Jesus every sin He did pin
For God gave to Christ a people
Chosen before eternity past as His own
So He would ransom them for Himself
For Jesus love gave Himself to atone
Such is the perfect love of God
For no depth He’ll not go through
To take His elect eternally to heaven
Everyone of them Gentile and Jew
So to this saviour of sinners
We bow in humble adoration
For giving us the greatest gift
Receiving such great salvation
('The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. ') (1 Timothy 1: 15) ESV
Living in the light of God
what’s that like? does anyone know?
no human can possibly answer
for where it is no human can go
There in that light is God alone
no one else but the trinity three in one
only the father son and holy ghost
nothing can approach such glorious sun
The human eye can’t get anywhere near
so brilliant so dazzling such a sight
words can’t describe it’s extensive scope
only God could create such light
God is the divine light absolutely
never ever to be seen by creation
that which was made by its maker
can’t begin to consider such divine occasion
(‘He lives in light so brilliant that no human can approach Him, no human eye has ever seen Him nor ever will.’ )1 Timothy ch.6 v.6 (NLT)
The troubles of our daily lives
can come upon us ever so quick
we don’t know what has hit us
putting us down with a power kick
But we’ve God to call upon
He loves us in His perfect power
showing comfort and peaceful calm
speaking His fragrance like a flower
God is so full of divine grace
filled with His love so free
like displayed in His beloved son
who died for our sin on Calvary’s tree
Exceedingly and abundant so full
this describes God’s loving grace
for to cover His beloved children
the Lord knows each and every face
The Lord’s grace is enough for all
whoever may come to the Lord
It’s eternally abundantly sufficient
Holding fast to the heavenly cord
(' and the grace of our Lord overflowed for me with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.' 1 Timothy ch. 1 v. 14 (ESV))
