Yes it is and thus he can swagger
But here with disgust
We must clocks adjust
And in morning out of bed stagger
I’d catch you if I could
But timing’s never good.
You gifted me joy, gave me grief,
Inflicted wounds, granted relief.
Broke me down then healed me anew -
Challenged my courage through and through.
When darkness shadow fell upon
Your steady hands brought me to dawn.
You changed me from callous to kind,
You opened up my shuttered mind.
When my distress was in dispute,
You proved forwards’ the only route.
Tirelessly you taught me how
To savour every bit of now.
You formed me fine and aged me too,
But I don’t hold it against you.
You are my long term constant friend
As I’m yours to the very end.
Forever I’d hold you nearby,
If only, Time, you didn’t fly.
There is nowhere I want to go
My time is starting to show
Tomorrow today
Nothing much to say
All seems the same
No one really to blame
Feel no burning flame
Leaning against an old tree
So much to see
Time standing still, so it would seem
A living dream
I am the only one here
Yet there is no fear
Not day nor is it night
The light
Somewhere in middle
So I play my fiddle
I am lost but do not want to be found
Just want to sit here on the ground
listening to the soothing sound
The feeling of my heart, as it beats
One lifes little treats
Time never yet started
Love never departed
Music is in the air
That is all I care
Days turn to night
Who needs a light
Time is on my side
Across the strings the bow does slide
An emotional rollercoaster I ride
Lost to the sound
I am bound
My heartbeat keeping time
I am one with this rhyme
Peace fills the void
Nobody to be annoyed
The moons now in the sky
Time moves on passing me by

Wondering what it brings
Excitement, fear, hate or love
A new beginning each day
Yesterday only memories
Lost in time excitement gone
The future only seconds away
What will this new day bring
Perhaps today time is on my side
It will give me a full day
Not taking it away
Just waiting for my time
To disappear and run away
when I look in the mirror
I see only myself
but time is on my side
and soon
my eyes will turn to you
Some came to sing; some came to pray
some came to keep the dark away
Reach out in the darkness
and you may find a friend

We live in Master Jack

lost in love and I don't know much
freedom's just another word for
nothing left to lose
you can check out any time you like
but you can never leave
And in the end the love you take
is equal to the love you make
If I were a carpenter and you
were a lady
I use to care but
things have changed
They keep telling me time is on my side.
But I'm not sure that time can stem the tide.
When things begin to go down south.
And life leaves you down in the mouth.
All I know is to run and hide.
And with the passing of the days.
Life can change so many ways.
And youth will go by in a blink.
Leaving no more time to think.
And there you stand left in a daze.
Love and money disappear spent without a care.
Then you wake up all alone with nobody there.
Flat broke busted, riding on the spare.
Not a dime to give away to appease dispair.
Time's not coming to someone that's not there.
Down on my knee's and begging please.
For God to blow a gentle breeze.
To take away all of the dust.
Of all the years I did not trust.
But still it's still up in the trees.

Thirty days in the hole
Tattooed dream
Scattered and covered
Ketchup and eggs
Alley blues
Toe rings and silver
Gold to be pawned
Living is just passing time
‘Time, time, time is on my side’
I feel as though i have embarked on a new journey in life, happiness is not permanent, a
dead end craft rest deeply inside of me. Failure prospers as though i harvest it with a
vengenance. I am a citizen of pure life, engaging in my own salvation, no longer a
priveleged fool with a slave mentality. I lust for forgiveness therapy, will i ever be able to
right my wrongs, making melody in my heart is a steady process but i hear no joyful
noise.My instruments of love only seem to perform thunderous deceit, suffering is my
foundation, wounded time is on my side.
I'll blow out the candles
Though the cake's not mine
It's your Birthday, One more time
I still count the days
Though it's been a few years
But' I'll never be able to count the tears
Happy Birthday Love-I still love you
Happy Birthday Dear-You're still dear to me
Happy Birthday Darlin-I'll never forget you
Will time ever bring you back to me?
Your Birthday card lays unread on the table
Your flowers fade and dry from neglect
But your picture remains by my bedside
For your love I can never forget
If time heals all wounds
Than time is on my side
For one day I shall be allowed to rest
Than together we'll be forever side by side
