Waiting On Time

They keep telling me time is on my side. But I'm not sure that time can stem the tide. When things begin to go down south. And life leaves you down in the mouth. All I know is to run and hide. And with the passing of the days. Life can change so many ways. And youth will go by in a blink. Leaving no more time to think. And there you stand left in a daze. Love and money disappear spent without a care. Then you wake up all alone with nobody there. Flat broke busted, riding on the spare. Not a dime to give away to appease dispair. Time's not coming to someone that's not there. Down on my knee's and begging please. For God to blow a gentle breeze. To take away all of the dust. Of all the years I did not trust. But still it's still up in the trees.

This is a very good poem! To be able to put words to our feelings and emotions and on top of that to be able to seek philosophy of life... 'awesome'... PR
