I know I am going to die,
but I do not know at all when.
And will my life be satisfied and complete?
But it will not matter anymore then.
(09.04.2026)
Someday I shall be happy to say
Everything in life prepared me
for this ~ my very last day
I thought I was the strongest of all,
Until I quietly changed my mind.
Somewhere between then & now,
I learned how to slow down.
Not because the road changed,
But because I did.
The old frames still exist,
the ones only I remember
In the order they happened.
Funny how something can feel so true
And still belong to a place
You can never return to.
So I left the door where it was,
The memories where they were,
And myself somewhere beyond them.
in one of her films
where a woman's strength reminds me
of the chiseled strength inside of me
Sometimes I get it right
Sometimes I remind myself
why it's important to run barefoot
on the beaches
of Sosua
to prove that you could make it here,
or anywhere
The ingrown shells
that cut my heels
help me build integrity
ideas thought of
become reality
flying cars?? really........
I was there standing talking to you
A boldness to a new world of confidence and will
Gently pulling the secret strings of my heart
Each minute she speaks
Its as if with an angel s voice
She guards her disguise
Notes fall down like snowflakes
Melting on my nose ,cheeks and brow
Ill sleep well tonight
Hoping to dream of your playful ways
It may be love
Or just a bridge over a feeling
To get to a special place
Like a beautiful spot to picnic in nature
It rediscovers me as a kid
When I was happy to be alone
In a World I made up to explore
By now,the interest of attraction has become an art
Spent my money on gambles of loneliness and moments that smile back
Notes fall down like snowflakes
Melting on my nose, cheeks and brow
Ill sleep well tonight ,hoping to dream of your playful ways
It may be love or a bridge over a feeling
To get to a special place
All I have is my thanks
Even just to be my friend
Need some release from this hell
With all of this panic and mayhem
Some kind of boost to my moral
Still l'm in search of a litttle zen
As it seems l am stuck in my shell
From where l'm asked did it all stem
Mentaly l am not feeling too well
Going over same ground again
If l could enjoy the here and now
Not worring over what,where, when
But though as always l seem to dwell
On what was back then
Follow uo to here and now written 2020
Till then~
may your evening keep its quiet glow,
may your thoughts drift gently,
and may whatever waits in the wings
find you right when you’re ready
to create something beautiful.
It seems to me,
That in my younger years,
I would not procrastinate.
But I would first evaluate.
Then, I would calculate.
Afterward, I would vacate.
I'm aging now,
And it seems to me that
I only want to 'staycate'.
I felt you.
A current cascades down my spine.
A ripple in my quiet unmoving sea.
I seek that very ripple. That shiver.
Craving it.
I long for the day that your ripple may finally become a wave, yearning for it to wash over me and swallow me whole.
For when I would finally be immersed with you.
She was here for us everyday
But we forgot to ask
What she was running from
We forgot that she was human too
Not just our shoulder to cry or
Or our therapist to rely on
We forgot she needed us too
We didn't notice her
When she cried behind her perfect smile
And eyes that showed no pain
We didn't notice her
Till she became a memory to be buried within.
And we didn't reply in time
And then came a day
When she wasn't present
To make it all okay
She was already running
Away
She wanted to change the world
Do a little good in her life
But it took her away instead
And the goodness I took for granted
Left
She gave away all her love
Left herself none
And when she wanted help
People ignored her signs
And called her funny instead.
She wanted only a hand to hold
For somebody to grab her
When she plunged into the water below
Somebody to whisper
"Don't worry
I am going to be with you forever."
Summer, darkened off.
Hung yet of o'er
As bright to the core
Nectarine. Peach.
Arboured italian!
Now my pleasure
To share whose leisure
Ripe to ravish
Soft cheeked, alike squish.
When for, so reach.
On earth we reason, and strive; and lie..Connive
And posture, are elated and cry, we build
up
edifices and would blot out the sun?
Then
Pass as mere shadows..' Doing our deeds untill
We all must die; everyone.' Yet not to life"
for it exists past
Time, in the mind of God! Now where is your
divine.?
This came to me on a Sunday night
when in the past, there’d been a fight
the house sat empty and sick with silence
and I was reeling, struck from violence
But now I feel things so different
in whirls and waves of the most blurred vision
sometimes I pace
sometimes I chase
feelings of warmth, safety and pain
or perhaps a journey to the not yet seen
in golden gleams of what could be
where I’m held close, never to seem
lost in life, lost at sea
peace I inhabit on Sunday nights
now fills a void that was full of fright
I no longer dread making it through the night
keep me here, I’ll be alright
summer dust
old porch floorboards creak
like lost time~
halcyon thoughts
drifting through my quieted mind,
warm as yesterday.
