Neoliberal psychology
Guess work astrology
Ideology of technology
Not biology or zoology
Climate change tautology
More misled mythology
With plenty of misogyny
So don't be a progeny
Ruining our ecology
Perfidious methodology
Investigate the pathology
Dodgy as any theology
Populist prodigal prodigy
Just wild child kidology
That’s their anthology
Still we tighten our belt
But as we surely melt
Plead need oncology
For hand they've dealt
For everything smelt
Time for a heart felt
On bended knee knelt
Apology..!
~ To the tune of Sam Cooke's 1960 hit,
'Wonderful World,' aka
'Don't know much about history...' ~
Don’t know squat about biology
Same is true of trigonometry
But in my heart is written, I love you
And I do know that my heart is true
I got an A, you see, in ‘Tautology’
Can one a whole day spend saying 'sorry':
Can man fill with 'sorry' back of lorry?
Methinks it would make a sight gory
Craving 'longest sorry' for one's glory:
Someone quite like you hairy or furry
To with 'voiced sorry' your favor curry...
It was a full day of it to a boss
By a stretched woman fearing sad job loss;
She had, too, written an apology,
Which had permitted some tautology:
"I'm working singlehandedly alone;
No great help from calls with my handset phone".
Really, alone bearing a most cruel cross
Once, a rolling stone gathering no moss.
Then, work she left for Evangelism,
Lately struck by its rare magnetism;
Preacher's new message Asceticism:
Man should be snubbing all cynicism...
Her boss was shocked that her last name is Ross.
He'd met twelve Ross that tried nothing gross.
There was an eagerly keen schoolboy,
Who when used the Greek term ‘hoi polloi’,
His teacher, a pedant--
A kind of stinging ant,
Corrected it to ‘the hoi polloi’;
Sir, my apology,
Ain't it tautology?
No, use grammar, boys as would a toy!
___________________________________________
In Greek, hoi polloi means ‘the people’. Thus, hoi is the article ‘the’, and when we say ‘the hoi polloi’ which is the way the expression is used in English, there doubtless is tautology. But usage determines grammar, not the other way around. Further, when we say ‘eagerly keen’, there too is some tautology as well. Further, the word pedant comes from French and Italian, and perhaps from Greek ‘pais’, whose teacher is called pedagogue. Pedant earlier meant only a teacher, but later on acquired its today’s meaning: one who lays excessive stress upon trifling details of knowledge.
My fellow poets might have sometimes faced comments that border on being pedantic.

Topic: humour, school, boy, teacher, apology, tautology
Tautologies always repeat themselves in non sequential order
All philosophies revolve around the suns of tautologies
There are endless suns orbiting Earth all named Henry
Shoes wear feat and feat wear shoes to bed
Vending machines dispense Pez and Pez does likewise
All time machines are created equal
Total eclipses happen seven days a week in Egypt
Egypt is a word without letters or envelopes
Everything is closed in an open universe
Thursdays are open to suggestions of being months
That time of month is not this one but another
All things being equal are equal to one when added to two
All people are one foot tall and only come in one color
Yellow is God's favorite color but not on Sunday
Three thousand pounds of feathers is never enough
Governments are worth their weight in gold
If you sell your children you will go to heaven twice
Everything on this list is true and leads to enlightenment
Why else would someone write it
Why else would anyone read it through
*In logic, a tautology is a formula that is true in every possible interpretation. Philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein first applied the term to redundancies of propositional logic in 1921.
Who do you think you are ?
I’m better than you;
I’m a dexterous writer and poet ;
Am I proud ?,For saying the truth, No!,
I love alliteration more than pun.
So therefore ,I’m a rhymer and Rapper,
Is that tautology or poetic jargons ?
No!,it’s my pen;it has blue blood
So,it vomits blood on my paper;
Who do you think you are to have
Challenged me to a contest ?
I’m a man that fights in the nude,
Without weakness and weapon, but witty and
whimsical as I wobble ,wonder and walk
into webs of written warriors of world wars.
Am I drunk? No!, it’s not me but my pen,
Faster than the speedboat, quicker than the Cheetah
and more garrulous than Parrot.
You think you are gracious ?
I’m better-ludicrous ,malicious , incredulous ,
Sagacious and fallacious ;Now judge that !
I’m humane and detest oppressors,
Obsessors, aggressors and assessors,
Now ,you judge that !,
…..But still…
I’m still in love with you…..
…..Hahahaha! ....

They were to meet in middle of the mall
He clearly misunderstood... his downfall
If there had been some writing on the wall
This fight might not have happened at all
Unsure of what to wear or where to look
It's important to give more than he took
He seemed caught like a fish on a hook
His life story could be a comic book
He remembered everything that he could
Wanting to make amends for this, he would
Deep in his heart of hearts he knew he should
Would giving her the moon do any good?
Not his best day, if you know what I mean
Not a first mistake or last to be seen
Clearly, he committed to coming clean
He secretly wished to be somewhere serene

Tautology aught to be taught as an ology
'cos an ology taught twice is tautology
Thinking about tonuge twisters
This was not twisty enough, but still interesting I thought !
World
Of a Great truth the world is Sweet,
Shaking hands with those that got Understanding
Smiling and Mocking the Ignoramus.
Of 'ts fate the World satisfy all;
For her beauty, structure and tautology beckons
for Salvo.
Of a truth the World is large and full of gesture;
It waters the learner
And brings to Vertex of ones discovery.

Proposing pure penalties
Rambling rancorous reveals
Opining odd occasions
Pitching putrid penance
Heralding heinous happenings
Evoking erroneous events
Teaching terrific tautology
TAUTOLOGY is useless repetition.
To explain what they are, here's a few.
“Free” gift, “follow” after, “past” history, are some,
“join” together, “new” creation, another two!
These samples and more are quite common.
Even though they’re grammatically wrong!
The first word says the same as the second,
therefore, it doesn’t belong!
Grammar is a difficult concept!
There are so many rules you must learn!
TAUTOLOGY is one of the problems,
but there seems to be little concern!
In plain day-to-day conversation,
TAUTOLOGIC expressions abound!
I don’t see a sign of it changing,
a problem, I can’t “swallow” down.
So let’s “unite” together and “rise” up and correct this “wrong” mistake!
Some say I have a way with words when truly most words have their way with me
And yes, I adore them best without any tautology
Caressing my psyche causing me to purr
Evoking emotions I never knew could occur
Incredible compilations of syllables
Precisely thrown together creating the unthinkable
To surreptitiously eschew
Grammatical errors innately out of the blue
Assembling phonetic chemistry
With sudden cognizance and poetic symmetry
Incessantly pondering over euphemisms
Reprieving the malediction of diction cataclysms
Putting to rest the Z’s in any onomatopoeia
Arranging every article and particle of speech to accentuate the main idea
With exact execution of the ultimate locution in sight
I peruse, comprehend, and write with exquisite delight
anticipation. a strong point, a big move, a big change. Ready? willing?
Love and Law. Two factors in possible restriction or obligation.
To say unitentional, an indirect yeet intimate approach.
An indirect yet belligerant approach, a contradiction
A tear, torn, indecisive. The contradictor, almost contradictory,
like mirror reflecting mirror and everything in between. This world revolves
around this reflection. Logical, artistic, or quiestion? Sanity, and you queston
yours. To be taught so your entire life. And to he and she until now, except for he
and she and you are tautology expert. I don't want to, need to hear it again. and to
reassure you. the thought has crossed my mind.
