Tangled

I’m tangled in you
I cannot break free
My face turning blue
I’ve lost sight of me
It’s just what I feared
I’ve fallen so hard
A sin loud and clear
Can’t see who you are
A wolf in disguise
An angel at ease
That spark in your eyes
Can hear my soul’s pleas
No mercy is had
I’ve lost my own head
I want you so bad
It hurts me instead
Don’t wanna be saved
Don’t wanna be found
Your love’s what I crave
When you’re not around
Don’t take off the chains
I wanna feel whole
Tattoo your full name
Right there on my soul
I want your obsession
I’m here on my knees
I’ll be your confession
I’ll be your disease
Love holds me hostage
The chains are quite heavy
I don’t mind the bondage
So take me already

Premium Member TANGLED ROOTS

Soft hands fold laundry,
laughter spills like loose buttons~
warmth in wrinkled sheets.
No blood binds us, yet we stay~
roots tangled, holding the earth.

Tangled Sheets

Tangled sheets

Another night goes by,
Was the night even here?
Minutes jump to hours into lightyears.
Dreams turn to nightmares,
Taunting my troubles with skilled pleasure.
A cycle always repeated after a bad day
Or good.
My tangled sheets tangle my mind
Twisting the fabric of my thoughts
Trying to find the cold side where I could rest my head,
But the cold restlessness does not leave my tangled sheets.

Another hour
Another tear spent.
“Why can’t I sleep anymore?”
Without music my head is full of loud silence.
Constantly telling me that it is my fault.
My mind is like a machine,
Constantly thinking.
04:11 am.
I have tried reading, but it does not help anymore
Even worse when winter has arrived,
The cold giving you a cold.
Heck, I cannot even lie down otherwise I cannot breathe.
Always coughing.
Body aching.
Yet my sheets are still tangled,
Just like me with my responsibilities

What once was mine

A beautiful tower, a beautiful view
Read books and brush my long hair is all I do
Staring at the ceiling of stars that I drew
Singing magic words of my glowing hair isn't new

It's that time of the year again, night at nine
Trapped in a castle made of spine
I stand still, frozen in time

Bring me my Flynn and my kingdom divine
Let me relive in that memory's shrine
On a boat, in a lake, where the floating lanterns shine

My dearest of hearts and souls combined
Give me a reason, show me a sign
Make the clock reverse bring back what once was mine,
What once was mine

Premium Member Tangled With Fools

They dance with fools in endless loops
Then flinch when theirs collide with ours

And from a distance no one sees
Who wears the crown and who the scars

Tangled In The Red String

You are the fire that burns pain to ash,
The first raindrop that touches the ground.
A dawn that breaks after a sleepless night,
A whisper of hope where peace is found.

You are the spark that ignites after dark,
The last fragment of my shattered soul.
A timeless flame that nothing restrain,
A shining diamond while I’m still the coal.

You are the breeze that carries the dream,
The first tide of the overflowed river.
A lighting star between two heartbeats,
A fading memory, carrying a secret shiver.

You are the flower that blooms in stone,
The last sun of my long waited dusk.
A ray of hope tearing through the sky,
A glimmer behind the twilight’s husk.

Oh, What A Tangled Interweb We Weave

Don't like the look of what's going on
seems to you something's wrong
the smell of corruption in the air
look around it's everywhere
can't place the feel of what's happening here
could it be something to fear
the sound of conniving on the wind
a warning call for all thin-skinned
so round and round and round we go
where it stops no one knows
it takes two to tango or so they say
but that was then not today
ask a question and they hand you
the same old automated two-step quango
one foot forward two steps back
while standing in quicksand
pose a query they'll sidestep the issue
and the matter at hand
giving you the light fandango
they'll look you in the eye and deny
it's all a web within a web
behind a web of total lies

Tangled up in you new song version

Tangled up in you

I remember the day I saw her,
running down the avenue...
Chestnut hair flowing in the air,
I was taken by the view

She was running late, ran by my gate,
saying how do you do....
I said, don't run away, come make my day,
turn my grey skies to blue

Later on that night, I caught a sight,
of that lady coming home
I said, hey my dear, don't ever fear,
'cause you'll never be alone

She stopped in her tracks, said is that a fact,
how can you be so sure?
I said, my love is true, and I'm true blue...
guess I'm tangled up in you

She stopped by for a spell, guess y'all can tell,
just how this story ends
She said thanks a lot, but you're not so hot,
why can't we just be friends

I said fine I guess, you know the rest,
she used those nifty shoes
I said I'll sit and wait for your return,
with my whiskey and my blues

the trouble with me is this, you see,
I'm still tangled up in you
yeah still tangled up in you.
soooooo tangled up in you.

Night Attire

Spoke to a bloke
from Blighty
whose wife
wouldn't wear a nightie
when she rolled over
he told me
her ankles were tangled
then turned back
her throat strangled
all the more
'I can't retire' she sleepily said
so instead she wore
bloomers to bed

Tangled

There’s something horrible about the tangles.
Like- everyone can eat the curly strands.
But no one knows what it costs.
When I had more than two eyes.
And the laundry got put away every day.
I could still laugh like that.
The face tangles up when you squint.
A burning, quick idea.
When you eat more than one burger in a day.
And the deadly mustard takes you.
Face tangles.
Eyes, and ears, and who else is here?
He looked at me as if there was nothing.
Curly, destructive, wailing facial features.
And the ocean.
Pulled me away again.
There’s something horrible about the tangles.
Flailing arms and waiting on the coast line.
There’s nothing like having eyes.
Which get scribbled on every time.

there was a young cad named O’Byrne
who dallied with the lasses and then spurned
till one day he tangled with Molly
who wouldn’t put up with such folly
and poor ole O’Byrne got burned

Premium Member Tangled in Twilight

Under cyanic horizon Sun sinks down, bids bye.
Twilight is welcomed by quiet evening sky.
In V-shaped design eager egrets to fly.
Sadness prevailing ! cawing crows cease to cry.
Me tangled in twilight , mesmerized.

Dusty dusk, wearing misty mask coming nigh.
To reflect sunrays soon Moon is sure to try.
Twilight will also tend to fade , feeling shy.
My forgotten past love whispering to sigh .
Me tangled in twilight , hypnotized.

Sun completes it's daily path from East to West
Weary birds stop chirping, seeking rest at nest.
Glow worms about to start glow warm at its best
Memories of amour are my best asset.
                                               Me tangled in twilight, astounded.

      After watching calm tranquil twilight.
Morose evening merging to turquoise night.
Bygone days, not always, brilliant bright.
Assessing loss or gain in grief and delight.
Me tangled in twilight, felt wounded.
