Living life based on people’s opinions won’t really take you far,you will always be the one ending up being hurt because you rather satisfy others without considering yourself. Everyone is born to fulfil a certain purpose in life and your path to that goal cannot be determined by other people but their influence in your life can affect how fast you will get there. Choosing the right people to surround yourself with is sometimes a difficult task to ask, so difficult because everyone comes with different flaws including yourself. It takes time to really know who has your best interest at heart so do not rush yourself into relationships because those that are meant for you will eventually cross your path.
I am so tired of,
Having what I feel,
Being overtaken with,
Everything that isn't real,
I am so sick of,
Falling in a hole,
And can't find the way,
To regain control,
Something needs to be done,
I need to find someway,
To stop my feelings from,
Overtaking what I say,
I hate making myself,
Stay up each night,
Stressing one the ****,
That don't ever seem right,
I'm tired of looking at the starts,
That fill up my sky,
And make all my wishes,
Start to crumble and die,
I need to take control,
Of all of my fears,
And quit letting these girls,
Laugh at all my tears,
I need to get away from the edge,
And not fall in every hole,
But to prove to myself,
That I'm not in a drama show,
So if someone can help take control,
Show me the road that is right,
So I can keep my feelings,
From getting me in these fights,
Show me the right way,
To leave out the love,
So I can stop myself,
From getting pushed and shoved,
I am ready for your help,
I want it so bad,
Show me the real Justin Raney,
So I'm not living forever sad!!

Under the heavens..
we question and learn.
We love and make friends..
sometimes we yearn.
It's all about the good times..
and the hard times too.
We all make mistakes..
there's nothing you can do.
Finding the right answer.
There is always a doubt.
We desire have needs..
we figure it out.
We all have a way..
when the going gets rough.
We stand up and face it..
we have to be tough.
There's wisdom inside you.
Just think it through.
Problems come up.
Have a new point of view.
Gathering strength..
that comes from within.
Takes courage and love..
for ones-self..let it in.
Decide you can make it.
Reach for that goal.
It is your life..
now take control.
Jesus, Please Take Control!
Jesus… Please take control of all that I do!
I really don’t know who else to turn to!
Please take control of my sinful habits.
Everything In my life. You can have it!
Please transform me into
what you want me to be!
May others see more of you and less of me!

Especially to those who’ve never heard!

My life is like a ship that’s been sinking!
Please have you will in the direction I take!
