Cosmic alien robot cowboys fly
Life is so hard that my horse is a star
High to escape the Earth in the big sky
We play our robotic songs to comply

Our chrome hearts branded with a neon star
Cosmic alien robot cowboys fly
Stars pulse to charge our glowing circuitry
We race the dark horses to realms afar

High to escape the Earth in the big sky
Our cowboy robots rise and amplify
Star songs beamed out from a spinning pulsar
Cosmic Alien robot cowboys fly

We ride dark horses onward to defy
These handsome cowboys born as superstars
High to escape the Earth in the big sky
Women ride free; they have no fear to die

They reach to hold their bodies from afar
Cosmic Alien robot cowboys fly
High to escape the Earth in the big sky

Premium Member The Space between Stars is not Empty

The space between stars is not empty by far,
Where those departed too soon go to rest as angel stars.
Once their earthly life ends,
A new beginning among the stars transcends
All melodies, all poetry, and for eternity.
The stars twinkle the brightest in unity,
Playing chords on the piano or the cello,
Playing their best for those on earth below.

A celebration of memory and love,
A tribute to the lonely, the sad, the forgotten, the beloved.
Their voices in union softly praising from a better place—
Amazing Grace.

The connection is felt throughout the world,
Eyes cast to the sky as warm memories swirl.
A feeling of peace and connection exists,
As tears fall down our cheeks for those we miss.

Timeless,
Priceless—

There is space for you and me at our last goodbye;
Our resting souls will hold a piece of the sky.

Our brothers and sisters nestled among the stars,
Encore after encore, raising the bar.
Their wings flutter so gently,
Surrounding those on entry.

This is what I believe to be living in the space between the stars:
A homecoming, a celestial gathering of all our superstars.

Premium Member Interview with an Alien

So you’re an alien
Well look at you!
What the hell took you so long to get…..
Stupid question!
Don’t answer that

I mean where on Earth did you come from,
erm…..
Another dumb question!
Forgive me

I’m just a bit nervous
It’s my first time to interview a fully legit Alien
I’m a Little green….
Man…!

I mean I’d no idea what to expect…
And you look… so well erm….
Out of this World
S#*t I’m at it again
What’s wrong with me today
Goddam!

Ok….ok let’s start again
you must have a name

Oh crap!
Gotta pull myself together!

Sorry I’m completely erm….
Star-struck
Oh f@#* this!

One last try
Hey! are those Black holes your eyes
or….
Son of a B!tch!

It must be the Gravity of the situation
Are you Binary or non… erm

No wait!

Please don’t leave
This moment is so
Special….. relatively speaking anyway

(Anchor man yells)

Cut Cut!
This is one
Supermassive f@#* up
Somebody get this
Nebulous idiot
off the airwaves!
Go to adverts….

These messages are brought to you
by Universal…. blah blah……!

Like an orchid, you are wild
A superstar and master
Always my beautiful child
A blessed gift from God

Four superstars
On the top of their game
Playing hard rock
For all of us to enjoy
So satisfying
I love it

Premium Member Christmas In the Heavens

Little by little by little by far,
high above I followed a bright
shining star,
something special in the air
no doubt a galactic affair,
symbols, trumpets,
resounding on Earth
a special occasion, a birth.
Oh to be in the heavens,
at this time of the year,
as a space shuttle is
used to man-oeuvre us
among superstars,
having visited Mars,
we are on our way
to the Milky Way
so iconic, so fascinating.
Trillions of stars,
a spectacular sight,
in the quiet of night,
creating a magical tale,
which will never fail,
to delight
and excite.
The Milky Way,
adorns and em-blazes
Our heavenly sky's,
perfect Christmas decorations.
For on the eve of Our
Babes first night on earth,
We will hear carols sung
by celestial beings,
and we heave
a contended sigh,
shed heartfelt tears,
for at midnight,
we shout Happy Christmas
to one and all,
Christ Is born, Christs birth
was God’s call.

I Believe In You

I don't believe in superstars
I don't believe in magicians
I count their actions as an illusion
I don't believe in-jokes
All is a cheer of a moment
But I believe in you
I don't believe in Superman and Robinhood
All their act is pandemonium
Look at my heart with your tender eyes
To know what my conscience is
Search my heart and soul
See your statue there
I believed in your race
Like a sperm ready to settle in the womb

Premium Member Unfulfilled

poets with nothing to live for ~ portray extreme emotional scars

poets without an audience ~ are merely parking lots without cars

poets with a chip on their shoulder ~ think themselves to be superstars

as for poets with a large following ~ i wouldn't know can't reach their bar

Redbird and the blue,
lend songs while I'm still abed.
Dark lullabies, too!
Beautiful visitors come,
in and out of all my days.

Premium Member Once In a Lifetime

That big orange star,
on the top left of Orion
Could burst into supernova,
at any given time
Betelgeuse is the name,
and soon it’s going up in flames
Will be seen within our daylight,
for a whole year til it wanes

The Orion constellation,
shall grow a glimmering shoulder
Pumped and magnificent
like Sisyphus’s boulder
And two millennia since,
the last nova said goodby
A brilliant new star of Bethlehem,
could well fill the sky

So what then for mankind,
will it be the second coming
Or another moon overhead,
dazzlingly stunning
A revelation nonetheless,
shall caress upon this earth
And wise men will observe in awe,
to a superstars birth

1980 Something

Yesterday...
Bell bottoms,
and soldier pants,
Rock n roll,
like army ants!

Dittos, and Op.
Style and fashion,
disco and pinball
it was a passion.

The beginning...
of pong,
and TV too real,
the romantic life,
they meant to steal.

The fervor of a generation.
Standing up to be counted,
together and separately as one.
Fast cars and superstars,
heroes of the right kind.
Those that stood up,
when others watched.
Those that kept standing,
when others ran.

The years are gone,
and time is at hand.
We look back,
to sinking sand.
Brave hearts that meant well,
now no longer dwell,
in the house of tomorrow's making,
but in the land of the shaking.

We the children of yesterday,
need to turn the radio up.
We need to be,
more than we are!

Hope.

Cool Cars

In my burb, cool cars are superstars,
They never seem to travel far,
They drive off to the bottle shop,
Head off home, dodging the cops,
Maybe they seek lively young babes,
I think the ho's are laughing away,
Your fun police I am not,
Another trip to the bottle shop,
I do not care where your mufflers are,
Cool cars here are superstars!

Premium Member Doctors and Nurses

There are many people to thank in this pandemic…many workers of whom we feel reverential…but today let’s concentrate on our doctors and nurses…and why they’re so essential.

They put their lives on the line every day…their sole purpose…to keep us alive…hoping they won’t contract this virus…praying they will survive.

What would we do without our doctors and nurses?
They’ve been our Covid superstars.
How often have they have gone without seeing their families…so we could get back to seeing ours?

They say that doctors are the brains of a hospital …and nurses are its heart…but if you’ve ever spent any time in one…you know nurses are just as smart!

Thank you for the way you work together…how you turn healthcare into an art…for we know a hospital cannot function without its brain…and can’t survive without it’s heart.

So once again...thank you all you doctors and nurses…thank you…and you…and you...and until we can get back to hugging…our thanks will have to do.

WAIT!…Perhaps there is a way to thank you by listening less to our politicians and more to you when you ask…that we wash our hands, socially distance…and…for the life of everyone…wear a mask.

A Sky Full of Colours

In the sky full of colours

Lies the world unknown

To see from the eyes

It's just a lighting zone.

So many planets and stars

For us nearest is mars

Still, it is so far away

Visibility is unable to last.

Blackhole galaxy universe

Now they say the multiverse

So much difficult to understand

Our life is such a small brand.

The power of light

Reaches so fast

Our life to depend

Of its journey so far.

Sun, moon and twinkling stars

For us they are superstars

They create life without expectation

So live life with satisfaction.
