Premium Member Compared to What

It’s the little things you notice
That make other little things in life shine.
Like an overflowing outhouse somewhere else
Makes the flush toilet at home seem great
And how this little thing
Makes you appreciate the greatness of a life
You may have disparaged out of familiarity.
The bottom line is it can always be worse,
But as our day to day life just gets better,
Softer and more luxurious
It’s easy to see our life as terrible
When others see it as blessed.
So which is it? Whose subjective view?
Beauty, comfort and appreciation,
Is always in the eye of the beholder.
Go with the flow they say,
Appreciate what you’ve got,
Because it can always get worse…

Premium Member Ambivalence Part II

But Freud could not vouch
For one lying on his couch
It’s God, our mind’s He unlocks
To wrestle with this paradox
This ambivalence
For the world fixes stints
For lungs that need air
For a heart needs repair
This is what we’re left with
No life, just a death kiss
At atheistic insistence
And with ambivalent resistance
There’s prejudicial conjecture
There’s personal conjecture
But no absolute or objective truth
You don’t need to be a sleuth
With subjectivity solicited
Two intellectual sins committed
Arbitrariness and inconsistency
Condition critical insistency
Circumspectly we point this out
Without a doubt, we don’t flout
Compare two worldviews
(as atheist’s hit the snooze)
We share the Gospel with the hostel
With no subterfuge or solipsism
No false religion’s systems or schisms
The 2nd Coming will be the loudest day
The trumpet sounds, the saintly strain
Will w/Jesus comeback with no foray
The final stop for the Gospel train

Premium Member Late Night 'n Youthful Futility

     Those of a religious inclination
tell me that ‘this world’ is pure illusion
That ‘Truth’ resides in the Heavenly Station
though it is they who dwell deep in the grips of delusion

You see, Truth is based on individual perception
which differs from one wo/man to their fellow
Of this they seem to have zero conception
at least by the way they bellow –

that I deny the existence of objectivity
which, while true, is nothing new
Philosophers from time immemorial speak of subjectivity
If a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it – on this they chew

Whew! Here I am in my advanced senility
reverting to long-ago ~ late-night discussions of youthful futility

Premium Member The Nightmare of Subjectivity - Apr 16

The lady looking up had said that “good
was bad” and then had added, “all was well”;
Tripped up on his feet, and after her fall,
she who was glad was then made madly sad.

But the man stooping down from where he stood
replied that “bad was good” and “well was all”;
Though with his words he’d made the tall feel small,
he’d been trying to make the sad feel glad.

O’! what grand narratives, what foolish tales
we spin for our mad selves!,—such stupid stuff
we weave inside our mangled minds—as if
our current suffering wasn’t enough!—;
But I present this riddle for a laugh:
“Can the heads side of a coin catch its tails?”

Refining Consciousness

Forgetting what is "right"
In favor of what's sound
Subjectivity is lost
When objectivity is found

This may prove problematic
For people more dogmatic

So even though society
Does not necessarily agree
That will not stop me
From being me

Premium Member Divine Kinship

Our way of looking at people traverses
The complex multi-layered perception
Manifested in the myriad motifs
We design for the animated images.

The superficial visual discernment
Transforms transiently into deep sensitivity
Takes symbolic shapes on the mental screen
Our focused inner sight desires to see in people.

The external attributes of appearance per se
Disappear within the meaningless subjectivity
At the hermitage of godly soul of oneness we look
Inspired by the supreme spirit of divine kinship.

Quantum Pysicics

In my most recent dreams,
I've had to deal with the interaction of physical consciousness
and watch moving time stand still.

A physical world of vibrating strings.
Quantum physics a lot is done inside of Bell's theorem.
This theorem and the light of influence that flows from it,
extrapolating results are enormous even if there infinitesimal points.

They are the whole concept of the objective that the world is pure,
I consider the vasilating facts,
drawn from actual dreams as well as quantum theory.
And the conflict of the force, the use of the powerful sleeping mind.

The results persistently point to the
profound interaction of the subconscious mind, the subjectivity,
of the physical world itself.

Maybe Love

love
such a finicky feeling
a feeling
a fleeting emotion
infinite definitions
with cruel subjectivity
maybe i did
maybe i didn't
why does it matter
my answer wouldn't change your feelings regardless
how can four letters hold such power
to steal you from my life
love
i don't know what it means
i don't know what it looks like
love
like a friend or something more
something you didn't want
all-consuming adoration
i just want what is best for you
maybe that's the same thing
maybe i never did
it doesn't matter anyways
when i'm confronted with your
stilted conversation and guarded eyes
love
pains twin flame
my melancholy gaze
trained on your tight lipped smile
this wasn't how it was supposed to go
my love

Premium Member Forbearance Riddle

The finest forbearance is perseverance.
Kindness then becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
The concept of consistency is of major importance.
Moral qualities are comparable in relevance.

Quietness, not priggishness, is a suitable property.
Individuals akin to this are content with their lifestyles.
Subjectivity reveals resiliency.
Being a significant impact requires being sturdy.

It is critical to maintaining consistency.
Being brave is the path to happiness.
To be halcyon, you must be mindful.
Variety and success are inextricably linked.

Pardoning is common in all dulcet situations.
Persistence is a critical component of significance.
To succeed, the attitude must be idyllic and heroic.
Patience is a crucial ingredient in greatness.

Kid-Landers, They Were

He was smiling with his fingers
Shaping a heart
He was not the focus of the camera
He was on one side, with his all-time favorite sister
His sister was holding him with a full-blown smile.
Kid-landers, they were.

I was looking at the picture, especially him
His eyelashes were awfully long, still are
He is a kid with no demand at all
He is a gentle, silent one
With a lot of words for his sister only
Kid-landers, they were.

I was trying to crop the picture,
For a subject of picture of those two
Unable to do that, as they were mingling
with other subjects so vividly, and I understood
Not everything is a subject of scissor-cut of subjectivity
Kid-landers, they were.

Chitta Vrtti Nirodha

to be
a human being
is so very small a thing
to be

while inside of me
all of reality
i am
i am
subjectivity

(infinite
finite)

liminal days
eternal lives
visceral
guts pouring
out from inside

it all starts to collide
i think maybe that's why
we must sleep
dreamless
sleep
we must die
