Stronger Together

We have a bond that makes us strong
A bond inseparable, no matter how long
We’ve made our allies, we hold them dear
In laughter, in tears, we conquer the feared

No plans to leave the shining stars
Never to enter the shadowing dark
Together we flourish, together we stand
Embracing the twists, our paths unplanned

We share our dreams, like whispers in

I do want to be stronger, it's just hard

I don't even like this wine that I'm drinking,
But it's here,
It might stop me from thinking.

Tonight he grabbed me and threw me,
Onto the ground.
Then his foot landed in my ribs,
I still hear the sound; 
The hollow thump,
A gasp leave my lungs;
Him shouting at me 
"you had enough?".

Yeah, I have. 
I'm sick of all of this

In A Box

You put me in a box—
'Cause that’s what makes you comfortable.
You put me in a box—
'Cause that’s what makes you strong.
You put me in a box
And tell me
That’s where I belong.

You put me in a box
To keep me
Contained.
Controlled.
You put me in a box
To strip away my soul.

You put me in a box
And seal it up

Stronger Than You Think

In a hurtful negligence, you did not read my poetry 
with empathy or even the slightest kindness, instead
you sought to tear me down for what I wrote.

Dear disguised friend, you had me defending what
I wrote bringing me back to past sadness I had long
overcome causing me to second guess my triumphs.

You Are Stronger Than the Storm

My son, I see the weight you bear,
The silent cries, the deep despair.
But in your soul, a fire burns bright—
A spark of hope, a will to fight.

This path is hard, the nights are long,
But you, my love, are fierce and strong.
No chain is stronger than your will,
No silence deeper than your fill.

You've stumbled, yes, but

Stronger?

But it only made you stronger... didn't it? Stronger... at what cost?

I was just a kid. I didn’t want to be strong. I didn’t want to build walls to shield myself from my own family or learn how to fight my battles alone. I longed for warmth, safety, the comfort of being held, the relief

Bullying has made me stronger

Bullying has made me stronger,
 Through all the pain and fear.
 Each harsh word and hurtful gesture,
 Only fueled my inner fire.
 
 I used to hide in shadows,
 Afraid to show my face.
 But now I stand tall and proud,
 No longer a disgrace.
 
 The names they called me,
 The lies they spread.

Stronger Than I Should Be

I stand in crowds but fade away,
No one asks if I’m okay.
Not because they wish me pain,
Just because they never strain—
To wonder if I need a call,
To check if I still stand tall.
They assume I’ll always be,
The silent force, the steady sea.

But I am tired—don’t you see?
Of being strong so constantly.
Of speaking last, of stepping

Stronger Than The Storm

Buckets of rain, boisterous as thunder, wrecked September’s farewell, flooding the mountains, the hills, the rivers and creeks. Wild and livid, coloring the air in streaming tears, erasing the faintest feel of a hopeful prayer. I ask for all the pain,
My potential is bound in the chain,
I ask for all the struggle,
My wings caught in rubble.

I ask for all the tears,
More than my eyes bears,
I ask for all the challenges,
In silence my mind plunges.

I ask you to break my will,

Although I'm not where I'm not where I want to be, I'm better than what I used to be. So please don't underestimate me. You will never understand me, I'm more than what you see. I think more than what I speak, I know more than what I say.

We take in only what makes us stronger

we only take in what makes us stronger. happiness. the moments that feel like gliding on the deepest clouds. the moments that feel like a gorgeous sunset with hues of red, orange and pink streaked across the evening sky. but real happiness for me means you. the happy memories of you embedded in my heart

Love Stronger than Silence

Is your love stronger than silence?
When words hide
When wounded pride
Holds expression hostage?

Will you sit with me
in quiet reverie
of what used to be?

Must I entice with lines
rhymes that suit your fancy
For you to read me?
